I wanted to share an amazing excursion that we did in Bonaire. We booked 2 ATV Buggies from Quad Project Bonaire. https://www.quadprojectbonaire.com/contact/

We booked the buggies well in advance. Eddie, the owner, was amazing from the beginning. He was very communicative throughout the months leading up to our day in Bonaire. We exited the cruise ship and he was standing there with a poster with my name on it. He drove us back to his home (business is run out of his home.). We signed an agreement, gave him our credit card and we paid for the buggies. He was very kind. I will be honest, at first, we were a little thrown off because it almost seemed a little shady as we didn’t know what to expect. After he took payment, he pulled out a map that he gave to us to take with us and showed us where on the map we may want to stop along the way. We had asked to rent it longer than the times listed on the site. He worked with us on the additional time and the price. We had an absolute BLAST in those buggies. I drove one and my hubby drove the other one. We had our two teenage girls with us who equally had a blast. They both said that it was their favorite excursion out of the 4 islands that we went to. We stopped off to do some snorkeling (take swim shoes and watch for Black Sea urchins). It was like swimming in an aquarium. We saw three sea turtles and many colorful fish. We then left there and drove around the island sight seeing. We stopped at a resort but left there fairly quickly since the water where we were wasn’t more than maybe calf deep but would be good if you had smaller kids. We went off-roading in the desert which was so fun. We saw tons of colorful lizards. It was such a fun day. We returned the buggies and Eddie drove us back to the shopping area as we requested instead of going back directly to port. We would most certainly contact him again if we were ever back in Bonaire. I know a lot of people who rented the golf carts and said they wished they had known about the buggies instead. We had no problem driving them on the main roads whatsoever. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Bonaire is our favorite Caribbean island! Really sad that Disney rarely goes there. The only reason we sail with other lines is to visit Bonaire.

We loved Bonaire as well as Curacao. Aruba was ho-hum. Had to take RCCL to the ABC islands because Disney doesn't. I sure wish Disney would cruise to new ports and change things up a bit.

Disney did just visit the ABC islands on a cruise in January but unfortunately they’re not doing those southern Caribbean itineraries next winter. ☹️

We were on that cruise and did a beach day in Bonaire. It was nice and relaxing but next time I want to check out those ATV buggies. Thanks for sharing!

We were on that cruise, specifically because it went to Bonaire. Had a great time there (and in Curaçao as well).

We were on the Disney ABC cruise and it was amazing! I liked Bonaire a lot but I wish we'd gotten to see more of it. We did a snorkel excursion and then tried to see the salt pans but didn't make it.

Salts are on the Southern side of the island, quite a trek on a two lane road and probably not worth it. The winds come in from the East and it is pretty desolate over there. Just ruins left from people that built over there that were destroyed by the weather, and old slave huts.
