Best places to eat in vegas? Buffets???

http://www.vegas4locals.com/couponsdining.html

I've printed off the Nathan's coupons and used them the last couple times I was there and saved a bundle. We also bought the American Casino Guide and used coupons from there.

This past trip we went to Terrible's on Paradise and thought the buffet was good and nicely priced (used coupons from ACG). Also got comped a lunch at M Resort (6 miles south of Mandalay Bay) and cannot believe how great the buffet was ... think it was worth $15 but included beer and wine in the cost. Gorgeous resort and buffet!!!!

Also go to restaurant.com and use a discount code (right now it's 80% off with SANTA code). There were some places in the PH Miracle Mile shops (Tacone Flavor Grill was one). Very easy to use.

Also, Ellis Island (dumpy casino behind Bally's) has an unadvertised Steak and Eggs breakfast special for $5 ... EXCELLENT!!!! We went twice earlier this month! You have to ask for it though because it is not listed on the menu or anything.

Hope this helps!

For Mexican food - we LOVED Que Mas on Craig Road, I think. They also participate in Restaurant.com

Breakfast buffet in the Paris is excellent - not cheap, though. Fresh-made crepes - absolutely delicious - I wanted to just make a meal of the cream that came with them...

If you're after a cheap buffet at the northern end of the strip try the Sahara. Sure it's not the Ritz but last time I was in Vegas it had the cheapest dinner buffet we found ($11.99 + tax) and no-one died of food poisoning!!! Bonus!!!!

There are some coupons at
http://www.destinationcoupons.com/Nevada/Las_Vegas/las-vegas-coupons.asp
including a $5 off one for the Spice Market Buffet!

I always hear good comments about that place. I went there myself for breakfast and it was fantastic, great deal with the $5 off. There was lots to choose from, lots of fresh fruit, giant granola, yum yum!

I went there for lunch once as well, it wasn't so good. There was definitely tons of things, but I didn't really like the way they tasted for some reason... After that, I opted to skip trying to have dinner there.

Maybe one of these days when I go back, I'll time my breakfast just right to give their lunch a second chance;).

The coupon for Planet Hollywood including Earl of Sandwich states this on it. Is this easy to get?

Must show Planet Hollywood a-List Players Club Card

overpriced marginal food...you can eat much better for better prices all over the strip. (even chains are well-priced and reliable, and portions are generally always plenty large)
Earl of Sandwich is a a good lunch go to.

Yes, especially if you come in off the street (Strip side). Enter the Miracle Shops to the right, over by the Harley Davidson Cafe. It should be one of the first stores at that entrance.

The A-List Players card is just the "slot" club for Planet Hollywood. It is free to join ... just look for the Players Club and sign up!!

You know, I don't remember highlighting the part about the players card, or why I would have done that... :confused3

You didn't. ACLOV actually bolded it when they typed it originally.

Ellis Island has a $6.99 steak dinner

Mr Lucky's at Hard Rock Hotel has a $7.77 steak dinner and a $9.99 all you can eat prime rib

The M Resort south of the strip has a HUGE buffet.

South Point also south of the strip has a nice buffet.

Also the Excalbur has $29.99 all you can eat all day buffet you get a wrist band and for one day can go in and out of the buffet whenever you want.

Oh, thanks! I don't usually quote posts in full (note to self: you are doing that this time :)), so it didn't make sense to me. Nice to know I'm still a little sane! Thanks, Heidict.

Check around. Excalibur isn't the only casino offering this - prices vary, of course, and so does quality. I know either the Orleans or the Gold Coast or both have the same deal, at a comparable price but in my opnion better food :teeth:

And the $7.77 deal at Mr. Lucky's is, I think, not on the menu. You need to ask for it.

Is M Resort off the strip? I saw they have a cooking show that sounds interesting you do have to buy a ticket but it includes the buffet.

THe M resort is not the "strip" but it is only Las Vegas BLVD. If you have a car go from the main hotels towards the welcome to Las Vegas sign and keep going you will pass south point and the its a little bit more. You will see it in the distance as it is the only tall building on the left side after the welcome to las vegas sign. I have seen vans the M resort has and they maybe able to pick you up excially if you are going to the show. I haven't seen the show yet, so i can't tell you how it is.

Thank you, I won't have a car, but maybe I'll inquire about the van transportation.

If you find out anything about it in the next few weeks could you post the info? Thanks.

My favorite buffet is the Carnival World buffet at the Rio. Like someone said earlier, it's a little off the strip but you can catch a free shuttle from Harrah's. It's a little pricey, but it's the best buffet in Vegas (my opinion, obviously)! Because it's themed a "world" buffet, you should really be able to find something for everyone here, because there is ALL KINDS of food! It's great. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Great! My brother is hosting his elopement (is that even a word lol) dinner there in May. It looks huge. I heard it is the largest buffet in Vegas.
