5. how to get other parks?boat? bus?
6. what kinda of resturants? food courts?

1. No. You might be able to see glimpses of it through the trees, but generally it will look at foliage or lawn.

2. Yes, although it's currently closed for rehab, so depending on when you are going to be there it will or won't.

3. Yes. There is one for the BC, one for hte YC, and one for the BCV, however any guest of either of those three can use any of those three pools, plus of course the main one.

4. Depends on where your room is and how fast you walk, between three minutes and ten minutes (if you're walking slowly).

5. MK--bus, AK, bus, MGM walk or boat.

6. no food court. Beaches and Cream offers kind of a food court in the am, you can also grab coffee and pastries in the lobby bar in the am. ANother idea is to get bakery items at the BW bakery the night before--yummy!For restaurants, Beaches and Cream is an old fashioned ice cream shop with great shakes and burgers. The Cape May Cafe offers a CB in the am, and an all you care to eat seafood buffet in the evening. Yacht Club Galley offers ala carte breakfast plus lunch which is a selection of ala carte hot meals and sandwiches. You are also within a few minute walk of the restaurants at the Swan (Palio, Kimono's) the Dolphin (Shula's, Tubbi's, Garden Cafe), the BW (Spoodles, BW BAkery, Big River brewpub, ESPN Sports Pub), and of course all the great eateries at Epcot.

Looks like all your questions were answered, but I wanted to chime in and say that you're going to our favorite WDW resort. And here's why:

we love Stormalong Bay (although yes there are quiet pools). Love walking to Epcot and MGM. We enjoy the Boardwalk area with all the restaurants and entertainment. The Epcot Resort area is fantastic. The CM's at YC/BC are great - we've never had an issue. I think you'll thoroughly enjoy your stay.

And, Beaches & Cream has the best hamburgers on the property, complete with fresh baked buns. And a novel juke box.

Have a great time.

Hello Huckster,

Great advice and information from Ducklite and PamNC.

We will be at YC May 12 for six nights. Pam is right about Beaches and Cream......they also have great Ice Cream and Shakes!

Have fun!:bounce:

Just wanted to add a couple of notes to ducklite's answers.

Yachtsman Steakhouse is another good restaurant at Y&BC which features delicious steaks. It is only open in the evenings.

Beaches & Cream is no longer open in the mornings. Must get your pastries, cereal, coffee, and juice in the bar off lobby.

Yacht Club Galley also offers a breakfast buffet in addition to ala carte menu items.

This is our favorite resort. You'll love it!!!
