Anyone done this during the Holidays at Celebration?

Just saw this in an email from the Kissimmee Visitors Bureau:

November 24-December 31 – Celebration’s Snowing Nightly

All ages can celebrate the holiday season as snow falls nightly on Market Street, complete with festive entertainment, horse and carriage rides, holiday photos, train rides, and much more. Market Street, Celebration.

Sounds very nice and we've always intended to visit Celebration and usually run out of time. Has anyone seen the Market Street event during the holidays?

We went for this one year, but it was such a mess that we wouldn't let the kids get in. The snow is soap bubbles.

Our visit was enjoyable, though.

We did it last year - the kids loved it, but did get messy!! Celebration has a lovely atmosphere over the holiday period, and is well worth the visit. Last year Santa was there too.

so it's like the same type of snow effect used in MK main street?

Not really. We have a house in Celebration and went down last Saturday. Saw Jordan Knight warming up (yikes...he can't sing as well as when he was in NKOTB). They fill all of market street with foamy bubbles an hour before the first snowing. We saw kids soaked and covered head to toe in bubbles. My advice would be do everything you want to do in Celebration and let the kids have a go at the "snow" right before you leave.

We went when we were there it was cute! The kids seemed to be having a great time! We also did the train ride and it was cute too! The Tavern was a great place for dinner! one of the best dinners we had while in Florida!!!

We went last week. It was fun to watch the kids in the "snow" but it was a mess. The snow falling wasn't as pretty as the snow at MGM though. All the kids playing in it certainly had a blast. There was definitely a festive atmosphere everywhere. We ate ice cream from Herman's (the shop has new name now) and sat in the rockers and relaxed until we got too cold from the ice cream and went to the car to finish eating it!
