Thanks for the heads up, it’s my favorite Christmas movie behind Die Hard!
Love Actually is on TV now. I mean right this minute. :lmao:
It's the PG version without the 2 porno movie stand-ins so it's the family friendly version.:thumbsup2

The next times it's airing on Freeform:
Fri Dec 17 at 9am ET
Sat Dec 18 at 7:35am ET
Sun Dec 26 at 1:30pm ET
It's also On Demand on Spectrum Cable for $3.99

Bumping for a new year. 🎄

Turns out this is the 20th anniversary of Love Actually and there is a special look back on it, "The Laughter & Secrets of Love Actually: 20 Years Later – A Diane Sawyer Special" airs on Tuesday, Nov 29th, 8pm-9pm ET, on ABC.

I was reading about that yesterday. Hugh Grant says how awkward it was for him to do the dance scene. That’s one of my favorites!

My opinion has not changed - one of the dumbest, most boring movies I have ever watched.

Isn't this the movie that launched that God-Awful Mariah Carey version of "All I Want for Christmas" too? If so, you can double what I said above.

Maybe re-launched. The song came out in 1994, Love Actually came out in 2003.

Mariah Carey wrote that song, it is not her version, it's her song. And it was a big hit long before this movie.

It's one of my favorite moves to "hate watch" at Christmas. We open a bottle of wine and rant about what terrible people most of the characters are. I like that it's kinda raunchy and not your typical family holiday movie.

It was mentioned in another thread, so thought I'd resurrect the Love Actually thread for those who haven't weighed in in the last 9+ years.

I saw you resurrected your other (annual) thread, but not this thread. I bumped it the last two years. I thought maybe you didn't care about this thread, so I didn't bump it up again this year. Glad to see it's back! :teeth:

I like the movie very much and watch it just about every year. As others noted, there are a lot of plot lines. Some I liked following and some not. Just as there are some actors in it that I don't enjoy watching, but that's okay because most I do like.
Count me as one who thinks it's a film for adults.
