I was able to book my FlyOver Canada tickets today. They had been showing as Sold Out for every day in the future, but they opened up today! Whoop. One more thing accomplished.
Not sure I can get my DH to go to the Suspension bridge. he is scared of heights, he was a paratrooper in the Army, but can't stand on the bridge or watch me go over it.Can't wait to see your plans for Hawaii!
We have visited Vancouver twice in the past before/after Alaskan cruises and love it there!
We really enjoyed our visit to the Capilano Suspension Bridge.
I am in search of some good rated Poutine in Vancouver
The Dr. Sun-Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden somehow (and nobody knows how) a river otter managed to negotiate the busy streets of downtown Vancouver to sniff out the wonderful collection of Koi who lived (operative word here being “lived”) at the Garden. Many very old and prized Koi were unfortunately eaten. No one could find the otter...he/she would bob up every now and then, and then dive deep. After a number of days, they decided to transport the remaining Koi to the Aquarium....a grand total of 4 were saved. During this time there were two camps “Go Otter!” And “Go Koi!”. Not to worry, they have restocked with younger Koi.

I was looking for Ice Cream or “Gelato”, and someone pointed out that the Uno Gelato is owned by a guy who actually went to Italy to compete in the largest worlds competition of Gelato makers and (drum roll) won first prize.

Oh, I want to act like a cool local....NP it'd where all the cool locals hang
I know this sounds crazy but I did not want to put the exact dates we would be gone on the internet. We are trying to arrange a house sitter. What sailing are you on? We have friends going on the vessel leaving on Sept 26th to Hawaii. I can't remember what cruise line though
I did not. I stopped this when someone posted my travel dates, I did not want people to know when I was away from home. Some great info here! Thanks to the OP and all the contributors. This is going to come in very handy as I plan our Vancouver to Hawaii cruise (April 10, 2020 on Celebrity). Just booked our cruise yesterday and thought it would be nice to hit Vancouver a couple of days before in order to see the city. We've never been there (Victoria is the closest we've come) and don't know the city at all.
Question for the OP, did you do a post-trip report?
