Oh, Mary...I expected I would get notifications of posts on this thread but of course, did not. I wanted to keep up here as well. I'm sorry I did not see your posts sooner. What a scare that was for you that weekend! I had a very similar experience before my uterine cancer surgery. I assume you had General Anesthesia during the actual surgery? It does take a awhile for the effects to wear off ...and it can effect us in other ways for up to a year...you have a lot to go through but you have such an amazing spirit, much courage, and most important, spunk! Those gifts can get us through a lot! I am thankful you are looking forward positively...but I know there will be moments, perhaps days, when you just feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and maybe even feel like you are losing hope. We are here for you ...to cheer you on, to send loads of Pixie Dust, and keep you tucked in unceasing heartfelt prayer. Of course, Chuck and Karen are the best and I am so very thankful they are nearby.
Disney in October! Oh, I do love that time of year there. Will you all stay in the house again or onsite this time? Did you say it is for a week? We enjoyed our offsit condo but I really hate paying for parking at the parks. I feel so strongly that it is a rip off for Disney to charge to park when more guest stay offsite and that means the only way some can get to the park is by car...so on top of the tkts is almost twenty five dollars for parking a day. Of course, offsite is so much more affordable that I guess it is still less cost overall. With our pups it can be difficult ...onsite we will only stay in the cabins with them ...the resorts make me nervous....all the noise with kiddos squealing happily would surely started ever our old pups and one would likely bark. But those cabins are expensive now! Yikes!
(ps Mia took down the house Christmas decorations inside and out right after the Epiphany but I still have some in my room and the table outside my door, which we decorate for my son in heaven. I don't have any Halloween decor still up though!)
Enjoy those pancakes...I LOVE pancakes for supper!! Yum.
