Am I gonna get rained out?

Hey all! First time Fort Wilderness-er here! I took my kids camping at Yellowstone this past summer, and we really had fun, so I want to try throwing out my tent when we head to Walt Disney World the first week of April. (also looking at the economics)
But I have never gone to WDW in the spring and not had at least one wash-out day. Which doesn't work real well with sleeping on the ground.
Any experienced spring campers have a problem with that, or does the tarp on the tent really work? I'd hate for us to end up sleeping in the minivan!

Put tarps under the tent but make sure none of the tarp hangs out from under the tent. Then make a shelter over your tent with another tarp. You should stay dry.
