Can someone give me some details on this? I've never been.
Is parking difficult? Cash only?
Is morning or afternoon better, or does it matter?
Thanks... it sounds like a fun excursion.... maybe after a trip to Pearl Harbor!

We just went this past Sunday after visiting Pearl Harbor. It is easy parking and cost $1 per person to get in. We felt it was a total waste of our time as far as purchasing anything, but fun to walk and see what goods people were buying. It is set up in blocks along the paking lot and each block has basically the same things. Most of it is made in China, but if you want very cheap t-shirts it is the place to go. They are 7 for $20. Shell necklaces are common as well as inexpensive silver jewelry.

It was cool 10 years ago...but now it's all stuff from China and nothing that great. If you want some cheap souvenirs...go to Walmart. Same stuff, but not left out in the sun.

If you want that atmosphere, go to Duke's Lane in Waikiki. Same stuff, no entrance fee.
