Hi all,

I was hoping for some help with the following please! Just getting the last bit of meal planning sorted and it's our 1st time at the Kyriad so I'm a bit lost.
  • Does anyone recall the kids options at the Agrabah buffet? Also would you recommend it?
  • Does anyone know what time the shuttle bus starts at the Kyriad?
  • What time does breakfast start at the Kyriad?
  • Can anyone recommend somewhere for lunch in VDE? We've tried Pauls and the Chinese restaurant and would love to hear some opinions please!
Thanks in advance
Kiz

There isn't really special childrens option at Agrabah - It's North Africain-Middle Eastern orientated so you've got a great selection of salads starters but they are all a bit different and have tastes of honey or cumin etc, lots of houmous which I love

The mains are again a lot of the same - spicy sausage - merguez or halal kebab meat, you have meat balls, chicken with olives then I've had nice beef mousaka and a veggie lasagna thingy

Children tend to like the crepes and the baklava desserts and you get fresh fruit salad with cinamon and there's saffron biscuits.

All depends what your lot eat normally and if they like different things.

For VdE I'd recommend Del Arte - I've never yet had a bad meal there, there is something for everyone and you've got menus that are good value for money

It's been a couple of years since we went to the Agrabah Cafe but I'm pretty sure they had a few plainish items like meatballs, pasta, tomato sauce and couscous.

But no particular kids section? It could be an expensive dessert for the kids! They would prefer plainer foods. Thanks guys

Hi there
I haven't been for 3 years but am going back in May !!!!

Agrabah is my fav DLP restaurant and I am gutted it's going to be closed when I go

I have reviewed it a couple of times in the restaurant review with a view to kids likes.
I remember no plain food at all apart from couscous.
If your kids are adventurous go for it. If not maybe give it a miss (see my comments about my bestie and her daughter in the review)

I don't know if the kids choices have changed in the last couple of years though!

No, I'm pretty sure there weren't any of the nuggets, pizza, chips etc you find in the other buffets.

Ok, I might test out the kids with couscous and bits in the next few days. I think it's the only way to judge. They like curry but aren't keen on too much spice. Thanks again.

I'm off for a read! It's a pity I can't make them more adventurous! James was always good for trying but eats like a sparrow. Jem had a great appetite but likes more plain food. I can show Jemma reviews and photos and judge from there. Thank you!

Anyone have info on the Kyriad by any chance?

Its a few years since I stayed at the Kyriad but the buses were definitely running in time to get to the park for EMH and were very quiet at that time as most guests there weren't entitled to EMH unless they had dream APs.
Breakfast was also served early as we asked for an early slot to get in for EMH and the receptionist was surprised and said the park didn't open til 10 so we could wait a bit later for breakfast if we wanted

I'll confirm - no chips, nuggets, pizza etc to be seen. You get a lot of children in there but it's true when I think about it that I have rarely seen English speaking little ones

Kyriad breakfast is from 7.00-10.00 btw

Bus timetable here

http://www.transdev-idf.com/horaire-ligne-54-pep's_051

First bus leaves the Kyriad at 6.15 am gets to the MLV station at 6.26 am - if you want to be there for 8.00 am you've got the 7.47 gets there at 7.58 :)

Thank you both :)
We need to leave fairly early if we want to hit EMH early. We have to check out of the Kyriad, in at the Newport Bay and drop bags before we go for EMH! Thanks for the link Carrie :)
