Adding a day onto a ticket?

I think I already know the answer to this, but I'm going to ask and make sure. Lol! My DD bought us 2 day park hopper plus tickets. I want to add a third day. We are staying on site but the tickets aren't part of a package. Do I have to wait to add the day until we get to disney? Thanks!

Since the tickets aren't part of a package, you do have to wait until you get there to upgrade them.
