4th Fastpass easier today 6/7 than yesterday?

I'm interested to know too. Seems like all the FP posts have been shut down. The FP FAQ one has been closed for comments even though the comments are about FP.

My understanding is the system looks for people overnight so nobody will really know until tomorrow but I think realistically, it's going to take a couple months to really clear everyone out that is abusing the system.

now with that said, I've gotten fop, fea, 7dmt and just about anything else very late in the day recently so it wasn't horrible before today.. it'll just be better tomorrow.

I figured with nobody able to game second sets of fp's today that 4th fps might be more easily obtained starting today.

Because it's been reported that you get locked out overnight and not while your doing it, I'm thinking it'll still be happening and it really depends on how long it'll take to weed out the offenders and their accounts before it's a major difference.

Hopefully it's faster than I think.

One of the old methods (which was probably the less common one) is being screened for after hours. The other method is being prevented on the spot. So there should be an immediate impact. How much of an impact will be based on how many people were using those old methods before. Nobody knows that.

Is that why MDE is down again? Is this what we have to look forward to every night for the foreseeable future?

I heard that a family of 3 was escorted out of MK this evening and they revoked their park tickets, but gave them their money back. I didn't get the specifics, but it had something to do with the use of fast passes. So sounds like these system checks are already in place...

I posted in the news round up thread and I will chime in here. I have never gotten more than a 4th FP and it usually wasn't a good one. Today we had 7! It was great! They were:
1. Star tours
2. TSMM
3. ToT
4. Little mermaid
5. Splash
6. Pirates
7. Small world

Sure some of those don't need a FP, however the shortest standby line of those attractionswas 30 minutes and bypassing even a 20-30 minute line helped us cover a lot of ground today. It seemed to make a difference.

Also, MDE has been very glitchy even at guest services. We added a MM using a military discount and it took 3 seperate trips to guest services to fix it. It kept disappearing from the app.

This is encouraging. I will admit to having used an extra set of magic bands for SDFP last year. I am just as happy to go without them, having everyone on a level playing field, and having better availability for our 4th and subsequent fast passes. I would assume that as we move forward, and more people become aware that their prebooked extra fast passes aren't going to work, they may start dropping them, and availability may get even better.

Where did you hear about this?

It's always been easier to get more FP at MK - the real test is if you can get them at EPCOT and HS.

I didn't try for any MK FP until after 5. I've never seen that many available immediately. Epcot has so few rides that need FP so you can't really compare.

Also there were a lot left at HS but DD really wanted to ride some things at MK and we wanted to test out the express transportation so we hopped.

Well, if they are kicking folks out of the parks for this all of the lines could get very short. :magnify:

FP+ for Everyone!

party:

Out of curiosity does anyone know if the latest change affects 4th or subsequent FP? Specifically we often travel with some older family members who on occasion have been tired after dinner and decided at the last minute not to return to the park in the evening or leave earlier than we do. In the past had they already scheduled a 4th (or subsequent) FP we may have have used it rather than letting it go to waste but it seems that would no longer be ok? Or would it since they attended the theme park that day using one of their ticket entitlements including their own 3 FP earlier? NOT trying to start a debate just trying to understand if is still ok for a legitimately used ticket to allow a traveling party member to ride instead of them.
