ANH is by far the best.
It's my favorite of the Originals.

I have friends who play all kinds of instruments, and when we were younger, we'd let each other play them. I've tried just about everything. Brass is easy, lower register on sax is easy for me, but the upper is harder. No idea why.
But flute, I can't even remember the fingerings for it. It's just so different from what I'm used to. The breathing is tricky at first, but it's easy to get the hang of.
The breathing was the easiest for me. Clarinet/sax? Yeah right. My BFF plays sax and my sister is clarinet and I've tried both. Holy hell is was hard! But, I have a smaller mouth and it's easier for me to concentrate the air into one spot rather than all over. IDK if that makes sense?
The fingerings are what's tough the first 6 months. After that they're permanently ingrained into your brain. I haven't played a flute in 2 years, but I found it cleaning recently and played it and it was just so natural to me.
Well you did on me!I would laugh hysterically and say that I don't have such an impact on people. You're like making me blush.

I find the flute extremely easy to play once you get the hang of it. Your airflow is your tool, instead of a reed. It can get confusing without seeing your fingering though.
Seriously? I never look when I'm playing, it just comes naturally.
