I am loving your report! I fully agree with the anger on APs needing to make park reservations if staying onsite. It really put a sour taste in my mouth that I could not go into Epcot for early entry on my January solo trip while staying at Boardwalk. I would have only stayed for an hour or so...

Thanks! I hope your family has a great time! Any chance of a trip report? I am sure we could do it on our own as well. I am so surprised that the ABD does not include Tokyo Disneyland, which is one of my must dos anyway.

I would love to do an ABD trip someday, and I am sure it is worth it, but these prices are insane! My jaw literally dropped when I saw the price for a family of 4 for this trip. We will most likely be doing Japan on our own in 2028 as my older son’s graduation present.

I’m still sad that I did not try the Beef Wellington at the festival as it was one of my musts, but I was never thinking about it in the moment, same thing for the chalk character scavenger hunt. Maybe next time!

Thanks for reading! I definitely learned a lot from my first solo trip and am excited to do it again someday! I also prefer September (love me some F&W festival) and generally prefer hot to cold weather. 🥶 The room with the elevator was definitely a bummer as Beach Club is my favorite...

I really enjoyed seeing the Jammitors on my solo trip as well. With the family there, we are always racing to the next ride, it was nice being able to enjoy some entertainment offerings on a solo trip. I am enjoying your trip report!

It was bonkers! Definitely more crowded than I or the crowd calendars were expecting I’m sure. I’m hoping that this is not the new normal with crowds.
