I made the mistake of jumping in the Goofy and Max line. I bailed after 5 or 6 minutes so the waiting was in vain. My favorite character stop was the police dog! I’ve never hit the brakes so hard I thought there would be a finishers picture area so I kept walking. I was wrong!

With the weather this week I’ve changed up my costume for tomorrow a little bit. No more tank top. Instead I have two black shirts for layering.

1 down! 2 to go! Wish I had the 10k medal pin for tomorrow . But will hope I get lucky today at expo.

Are you in any FB RunDisney groups?? I’ve seen people posting they are selling theirs. Must be people who bought presale. Not sure if I’m allowed to post the group names I’ve seen them in.

Sooo... we stayed at Embessy suites next to orange county airport... the fire alarm went off every two hours!!!

So happy we are out of that hotel and already dropped off our bags to Pixar place hotel and now in the line to go into Disneyland.

On the plus side Pixar place hotel Cafe was open so we could get some coffee ️ this morning in a short line.

The costume for your panda is so cute!

My dog has a Scrump toy and I dressed her up in a reindeer sweater for Christmas (long story).

Yes, the DL 5Ks have always started in the park. The longer distances used to start over by Paradise Pier/DL Hotel, but they've moved it offsite. From the maps, it appears there will be entries with security checks at both sides, but nobody is sure as this is the first time they've used this location.

One more dislike to add: they told everyone to arrive early for security, then held the whole line until 4:10 when they finally opened the DL gates. If you got there early enough, the line was looped inside, past security. Hearing the CM chatter, it legit sounded like some had no idea a race was planned today!

I'd prefer my discount or at exact cost is the problem . I've seen them go for either above retail plus tax or have to be in the full set of 10k pins (not interested in the other two). But yeah. In a lot of Facebook groups and have commented I'm interested in that exact pin, but won't pay more than someone else paid.

Keeping my eyes open though! Maybe I'll get lucky there if I don't at expo

The line is so long for Goofy and Max . The line end was very unclear which didn't help

Being in a chair definitely helped with the Goofy and Max line. Since there was nothing before them and I already had been booking it to clear Toontown Depot hill before the lead runners came in (which I pulled off!). I got there while the line was short.

Not always actually on the 5ks. Some weekends started out on Disneyland drive like the other races. Tinkerbell usually did but just because Tink did didn’t mean they all did

The security dog was easily the longest line I waited in. But it ended up paying off because when I hit the tram tunnel shortly after I positioned my chair on the left hand side remembering for some reason there’s usually a bunch of open space over there. And I was right. Got through about 3/4 of the tunnel before I had to hit the breaks as I was coming up on other runners

They were on the left coming into Frontierland after the first time through in GE. I got lucky when I got there they had Belle with them. So I got all three.

And yeah I’m not joking when I said the security dog line took the longest. His handler was helping set up the photos with the toys and making sure everyone was getting a good photo to the best of her ability. So that’s why it took so log
