Naked Guy at It's A Small World

I'm trying to picture what you have in mind. It's one thing to have loads of undercover security roaming the park (and they do), it's quite another to have security able to access every inch of the interior of the rides at a moment's notice.

Still waiting for the story to come out from naked guy's friends. I mean, I guess he could have come to the park alone to do drugs, but that sounds more like a party.
I mean, I think Security are suppose to be within like 5-10 mins of any major area

A CM is heard in a video asking him to stop moving...so you think there is enough time to get someone there that can stop him from moving around the attraction and if not...shows a somewhat weakness in there current system.

What if he just started to destroy stuff? You would just think they would have a system to stop this from happening so someone can't just start hurting other guests or destroy said attractions

This is the reason they had added lap-bars to Splash at MK. They weren't really needed for safety, but you got a couple of idiots who wanted to stand up or hop onto the sets, so they added the bar to make that difficult. They may need to do this on all boat rides to prevent this kind of nonsense.

Dude, really this is going to be how you spend your time. Policing a thread with naked in its title. I bet you're fun at parties. I guess there is always one in the bunch. (and yes I know you're going to report me for all sorts of violations.)
Dude, this is illegal in 30 states. Imagine if it was you, your wife or daughters. They came down a waterslide and their tops or bottoms fell off and someone posted it. Would you be okay with it?

Completely different scenario. This dude chose to remove his clothes in a public place.
He was on some drugs, or mentally challenged. Say your daughters had a drink drugged, then tore off their clothes themselves… or allowed a boyfriend to take a naked picture of her and then he posted it to here. I guess you’re okay with it then.

This isn’t a hard thing to comprehend. You need CONSENT of the person involved to show naked videos or pictures of them.

This is horrifying but also has nothing to do with a random dude getting high and making bad decisions.

I get WHY you are so passionate about this and agree with you on them but the circumstances matter. They matter a lot.

At the end of the day, as far as we know the guy in the video wasn't drugged. He chose that. And until it's proven otherwise: play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

These videos are going viral now and are global news. Australia, Singapore, UK, Netherlands, Canada... you cannot put the genie back in the bottle.

I am not sure, as I do not know US law, but I am sure there is a distinction about being filmed in a private or public place. And there is a difference when the subject is breaking the law. Then the footage can help in court cases.

To make this topic a bit more interesting 😉
What if a sign like this was at Disneyland that day.

I was wondering this too - if he had friends with him, he needs to make better friends choices.

These are two very different scenarios. The first my daughter made choices. She got drunk./did drugs and undressed. The second someone else took a picture of her with or without permission and posted the photos again with or without permission, since you didn't specify.

Of course in either scenario I would be horrified at either of these. If it was the first I would hope that my daughter would get whatever help she needed for her drinking/drug issues. My oldest daughter did have to go through legal issues to get the necessary mental health help she needed. Sometimes it is the only way someone can/does.

If it were the second scenario and the photos were taken & posted without permission I would support her in taking whatever legal action she felt was appropriate.

The dude was 26 years old...I think he can make big boy choices and face big boy consequences. I don't like when people film other people, either, but that is the consequence of being out in public. The filming was not done with malicious intent, like circulating revenge porn would be. He made the choice to strip down to his skivvies and then run around in the buff against everyone else in the vicinity's consent.

Why didn't he strip down in Candy Palace? Perhaps in the middle of Main Street? If you are that far gone, you are not going to have the rationalization to make it all the way to the end of the park fully clothed, then hop off the ride vehicle and walk around in the restricted area of the ride then jumping around on the dolls while disrobing. He might have taken a hit prior to getting on the ride, but again - that is his choice and the consequences of that are what we are seeing.

The filming is not any more malicious then the news broadcasting a "Karen" who calls the cops on kids with a lemonade stand.

Wow, we just left Disneyland this weekend and missed the "excitement." 🤦‍♀️

IDK why but bath salts immediately came to my mind. :confused3

When I was there a couple of months ago, I was in the park the same day as Dick Van Dyke and I never knew until the next day when I saw it reported. With my luck though, I'd have been in just the right place to see this! 🤣

Can we maybe show some compassion for someone who obviously was having a mental break? This was not someone going around maliciously. How quick we are to judge when we don't know all the circumstances.

Thank you (and others) for showing some empathy! I get everyone's urge to be shocked or giggle or make jokes, and that's natural. But, you can still do that and show empathy. I don't think this man was intending to harm anyone or was being malicious. It's likely the result of mental illness and/or drug usage. (And drug usage is often a means to self-medicate for someone who is mentally ill.) Regardless, he is a human who needs serious help and likely has family/friends who are deeply worried for him. Yes, he'll have to go through the justice system because this was all illegal, but I sincerely hope he gets the help he needs.

I hate iasw. I always wished they would do a space ranger spin layover in that attraction.
As always, there are lovers and haters. For the multitudes of us who love it, ESPECIALLY THE HOLIDAY VERSION, it it so beautiful and peaceful. I start many days there first to put the day in perspective. i am thankful that DL does this holiday version as they do not in WDW and it just doesn’t compare. The decorations from the different countries make it so bright and pretty. I love the music, it just makes you happy. All just my opinion…each to their own.

The Holiday version is my favorite too!
