Thank you, I wasn’t clear above. I meant exactly this, but it was answered above.I think poster wanted to submit a 10k as their half pot

That was my first thought! 100% paint on both sides, after experience with the last few races and chipping medals, I wish they would move away from their latest designs and go back to basics. Of course they always look better to me in person and I really like that FigmentThey sure are… colorful.
You’d think with the consistency of posts on various blogs or social media about chipping paint and hinges/sliders/spinners braking they would go back to basics but nopeThat was my first thought! 100% paint on both sides, after experience with the last few races and chipping medals, I wish they would move away from their latest designs and go back to basics. Or at least some cohesive food & wine theme 2017 comes to mindBring back Chef Mickey!
It has a WHAT!!!and then I found out the challenge medal has a light-up function.
A little tiny light that will probably break lol.It has a WHAT!!!
Wine & Dine hasn't been about food and wine for a few years now. Its whatever themes they can throw at it that stick. Why does Wine and Dine always phone in the 10k medal? I like the 5k and half. Figment is a huge missed opportunity. Wine and Dine is about Epcot and the Food and Wine festival. Alice, Beauty and Beast, and Encanto have nothing to do with any of this. If you’re doing Figment, the theme throughout the race should be classic Epcot. Kitchen Kabaret? Horizons? Living with the Land? Seabase Alpha? Captain Eo? The least they could have done is incorporated Dreamfinder, or tied the entire theming to imagination.
They're not going too crazy with theming for the next year of WDW races and they don't really have to, as long as they keep selling out as quickly as they do. Heck, this likely sold out as quickly as it did because of Figment’s involvement. They really didn’t have to do much. Why does Wine and Dine always phone in the 10k medal? I like the 5k and half. History and traditions went out the window a while ago with Disney.I’d say 2019 was the last time it was distinctly Epcot. The challenge medal was the 3 caballeros on the Mexico pyramid, the half was colonial Mickey with an apple pie, the 10K was Frozen-themed (also the weakest medal of the bunch). 2021 was villains, 2022 was . . . recent movies and the genie? I know the argument is that they won’t change anything if it keeps selling out, but for a company that places its history and traditions as an important value, you’d think they wouldn’t relegate Wine and Dine to miscellaneous grab bag.
