Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

We got our call only two days ahead.

For anyone familiar with Poly club, we’re staying in garden view level next week. Two kids under 10 but no stroller. Any thoughts on requesting 3rd floor vs 1st floor? I’ve heard both preferences and curious to hear from other CL goers, thanks!

For me, edge goes to third floor so no one stomping around above you. “Third floor first choice, first floor second choice” or something similar is how I’ve worded mine in the past.

Enjoy your stay!

The YC CL is not what it was pre covid or even since our December trip. The best night has been short ribs and mashed potatoes served from a large skillet so you could take whatever you wanted. Now it is preplated and they are calling it pot roast, it was one bite of pot roast and about a tablespoon of mashed potatoes The tomato and mozzarella salad is also now preplated. There were a couple of other thing preplated but I don't remember what they were since I didn't eat it I didn't pay attention. I know I am being a bad Disser :rotfl2: I know they are supposed to be appitizers and not a meal other than breakfast, but in the past unless you were a big eater you could easily make dinner and lunch out of the offerings. The CM's were great as always as was everything else about the YC. We always stay CL and will continue to do so but are not happy with the changes. As long as they have the coffee out early in the morning I'm a happy camper. :goodvibes
Agree. We were not impressed with yc food offerings

On my most recent YC stay, less than a year ago, more than once the CM's gave a tour of the lounge to fellow guests while we were in the lounge. They talked loudly, so everyone could hear. They very clearly called the 5-7pm food offering, "a light dinner." They continued to discuss the topic with the guests, talking up the food, saying many people prefer a light dinner, and so they find the buffet to be more than enough food. They also stated very clearly that guests are allowed to have as much food as they please, and so forth.

In any event, this is one of the things that is sometimes frustrating about CL. They go back and forth on things constantly.

I prefer a balcony to a patio so I say 3rd floor. My husband and I like to sit outside and enjoy a beverage while the kids (by kids I mean teens, lol) relax.

We really enjoyed GCH. It was a step above DLH cl.

I felt they were pretty similar to WDW however COVID closures have changed all of them somewhat,

The lounge at DLH was similar to CR.
GCH had nice outdoor seating which we enjoyed.
I did the lounge at GCH and thought it was pretty good for lunch and breakfast. The evening options I felt were good as well but not a complete dinner- vey small bites. From stuff I read about some WDW lounges the evening options there at some lounges are quite larger and could serve as dinner. I’m doing Poly and BWI lounges this summer so I can report back. Doing GCH again in April with club.

Booked a one nights stay at the Contemporary in the middle of my Fort Wilderness stay (water view, main tower club level). Looking at my reservation it has it listed as "resort view" instead of water view. Is it the same thing?

Interested to see what happens with early May CL reservations at BWI. Reports of standard reservations being moved to other resorts (presumably due to refurb delays) on the BW thread.

“I called yesterday and was told Club wouldn’t be available until late May at the earliest. I asked about my room reservation and was told I would be given options at check in. I’m not super kicked with that idea but it’ll have to do for now. I need to be at BW regardless of what room they put me in.”

Yikes…that sounds pretty awful. Options at check-in? Hmmm…

We have a deluxe club level room booked for late May…should be interesting!

I'm guessing the options at check in may be because the poster wanted to stay due to attending TA agency meetings at BWI.

We are not May but mid June BWI CL. I'm starting to get a little nervous.
