What’s the guess for cash price of 1 night in a Grand Villa? Over $3500 a night? Over $5,000 a night?

I'm going to give it a try. Do we have any idea when we can call member svcs? I heard 9am ET? That means 6am (in the damn dark) over here in CA.

I took a look at the rack rate for a September stay in a DL Hotel suite and it was $5000. Seems entirely likely it would be that high.

I'll be waiting until Friday to see the rack rates online. Not interested enough to deal with calling or potential hold times.

I'm definitely curious but am very unlikely to book. I can't unborrow points for existing VGC bookings so I have no flexibility to convert existing trips and not much desire to add new trips through the end of 2023. I don't expect 2024 bookings (2024 isn't posted yet at WDW or DL), but would be happy to be surprised.

I already have a September stay at VCG that I could unbook and bank those points if the rack rate is reasonable. If not, I'll stay at VCG and visit the new hotel. Maybe we'll have a point chart by then?

You are not dreaming - I think it was in a recent D23 newsletter. There is now this statement in the D23 events article under D100 -

Plus, D23 will invite members to The Walt Disney Studios Lot for an exclusive event in honor of 100 years of beloved Disney stories and characters.

Thank you for posting this. I'm looking for dates in January, but I've only gotten a mix of busy signals, "your call can not be completed as dialed" and "call failed", so I can stop trying now.
