What celebs have you seen at a DVC resort? If you haven’t seen one, who would you want to see?

Seriously couldn't care less about seeing a "celebrity" at WDW. Generally flanked by security, so you couldn't get close anyway.
We've seen several in the past and the above statement hold true.

Years ago right before Disney Institute closed, we had Drew Carey sitting at the table next to us having breakfast.

Billy Ocean - friendly, smiling taking pictures with a guest or two outside in front of BCV lobby (I was coming back from my morning walk) and I also asked if it was okay to take a picture with him, he had his arm around me, hugged and kissed me/if he put on an act, he was great at it. He seemed really genuine. Had the biggest smile the whole time.

Robert Irvine - (celebrity?) - saw him a few tables over from our table at at Ale & Compass

Joey Fantone (celebrity? )- we were standing/waiting outside of BCV lobby - I thought it looked like him - I was looking at his back while he was waiting for a car to pick him up. I could see he kept turning around avoiding looking at people - it was him - seemed like he did not want to be recognized.

Being from the UK on these threads I have not heard of a lot of these so called celebrities. Billy Ocean, he is a different matter. He played a small club a few miles from my house a few years back- surprised Americans recognised him nowadays didn’t realise he was as well known there.
Someone said once Adam Sandler was spotted in AKV and someone said they saw Kurt Russel walking down the steps at BWV. Now they are celebrities. Someone years ago got a picture with Mohammed Ali outside BWV as well.
Me, I have only seen this being filmed, took the photo. Was fun to see it afterwards on TV here in UK.

Pre-Covid, we were on the DCL Fantasy with Neil Patrick Harris & his family including his parents. Saw them around the ship a lot. Not at DVC but we were using DVC points for one fare...

We took a celebrity with us who usually gets recognized when we are out. We went one day to MK. He wore a mask, hat, glasses. He was careful with the mask even when eating. No one clocked him that anyone noticed, which was refreshing. I thought line would be the weak spot. But even in lines, everyone is minding their business and on their phone. We were really worried because of the kids, they really try to protect the kids and keep them out of photos and such. We kind of split our group to protect the kids in case he got outed, which was sad. But we knew what we were getting into.

If you want to spot a celebrity, look for the people still wearing the Covid masks. And leave them the heck alone. They're not animals in a zoo.

Agreed, for years I lived in the same town as Paul Newman and everyone followed the etiquette to leave him alone and let him live his life in peace when he was out and about. Although once I did have to work hard to calm down my mother-in-law’s excitement when he came into a restaurant where we were eating.

Not at a DVC resort and not sure if she counts as a celebrity, but I was behind Meri from Sister Wives and her daughter while on line for Pinocchio at Disneyland a few years ago. I remember her being rude towards the cast member because the ride was having technical issues.

Last trip in September, we saw Addison Russell in the lobby at the Grand Floridian (by the Grand Floridian Cafe). We were excited as Chicago Cubs fans to see him. I got my picture taken with him and he was very nice.

I am also local to Disneyland and have seen a lot of celebs over the years. We saw Josh Gad and an entourage a couple years ago. My mom started talking with a guy (and did not realize he was part of that group) who was wearing a Chicago Bulls sweatshirt and found out he went to the same high school as me and was one year behind me. So, she sent him over to chat with me for a few minutes. And when Josh Gad saw, he asked who X was talking to and my mom turned and said - oh that's my daughter, they went to the same high school. We did not know each other, but did know people in common.

Another time, I was right next to Jaime Foxx in the row line ups for Soaring. He and his family were in row 1 and I was in row 2. I said hello and asked if he was having a good day, and he said yes of course because it was Disneyland. I was actually next to another celeb family in that row 2, but honestly, I am still not sure who it was. But the husband and Jaime Foxx shook hands and said hello to one another. Both groups had plaids with them trying to keep people away from them.

Not actually in a resort, but Fergie was once on our flight to Orlando. (Not Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, the other Fergie).
Living the Glamorous life…

“And I could put you in (first class, up in the sky)”;)

John Stamos was at AK one of our trips last year. Him, I would’ve recognized. didn’t see him, only way I knew was multiple people sent me tik-tok video he posted. Never stated the resort name, anyone who stayed @ AK would know tho

even with security, it’s not the smartest move to advertise your whereabouts if a celeb:confused3

Sshhh

You would probably guess I’d love to see Larry David. He’s the celebrity I’d most like to meet.

Oh forgot, I passed Danny Dyer in Animal Kingdom. Most Americans may not know who he is, but he is very well known here in UK, has game shows, starred on ‘Eastenders’ as well as playing ‘hard men’ in many gangster style movies.
