What is going on when I get the message that says "We are unable to check the balance on your card at this time. Please call the number on the back for assistance"?

You won't loose the money. You need to call disney gift card services to find out what's going on with it. If they don't have any answers EMAIL them, that's how things are being resolved. Confirm the email address. It should take about a week to resolve.

It say limit 1, but the system will let you buy 2 a day. Must be separate orders.

It may be good through 12/15 based on the small banner at the top (not sure if that means midnight 12/15 or the whole day of 12/15). So you may be able to buy multiple days, but Best Buy makes you wait 24 hours from your purchase to buy another.

Yes, and if you use ibotta I would check to see if they have a promotion. If they don't, I'm thinking eventually it will be added. Ibotta seems to mirror Best Buy gc sales.

You are able to make a second purchase immediately but it does have to be a separate order.

So regarding the Best buy offer I got my email code for first card right away and have yet to
receive 2nd one...which I only ordered 10 minutes later. I wonder if they will void 2nd
order as technically it does say 1 per order/acct?

Both orders say email instructions how to redeem have been mailed out but I only received
one and when I enter the order# for 2nd card....it says order not found.

Ibotta does have an offer for the $50 Disney GC at Best Buy. It is $2.00 back on a $50 Disney GC and 2% cashback. I purchased one GC and have pending $2.90. It is available until 12/18 but I am not sure if it will reappear for me to use while Best Buy has them on sale.

I have the AmEx (25 back after spend 250).
I see that GC is limit 1.
Is there any strategy to being able to purchasing 5 of these with the same amex credit card? Multiple best buy accounts perhaps?

I am in the same boat. I placed an order for DGC and an order for Uber and those came through pretty much immediately. Then I realized I should have used Apple Pay for the 5% Discover Q4 bonus, so I went on my iPhone to place an additioinal order using Safari, but as soon as I added to cart the Uber gift card, its flashed an error message saying limit one per customer. I went to the Best Buy app and interestingly, it allowed me to add both DGC and Uber GC and I checked out with Apple Pay. It has been 15 minutes and second order is still showing "processing" so I suspect it may get cancelled.

Here's the thing, I suggest they go to the CC thread when they're looking to get a new card. That's what the CC thread is for. Same goes for the gift card thread, the offer should be posted on the GC thread that's what this is for.

Should anyone want to discuss how they are utilizing their credit cards on this thread, that is a zero conflict of interest. I'm not stepping on @SouthFayetteFan can others say the same when posting GC offers on the CC thread?
