Anyone know when/if magic band+ will be live on mde? I know it will be available on shop Disney at 10am eastern

Or as an AP should I wait till the IT kinks get worked out

From what I’m reading no one knows that answer yet. Lol. I guess we have to pull and all nighter and see when they release!

They used to have only one location in New Haven. They've since expanded to half a dozen other sites, I think Danbury is one of them.

MagicBand+ Bluetooth Pairing Issues Persist as Launch Day Nears​

With MagicBand+ preparing to officially launch tomorrow, we hoped that Disney would’ve ironed out most of the kinks so the product is ready for guests. But alas, we continue to face issues with pairing on our MagicBand+ units even as launch day nears.

As we continue testing of our MagicBand+ before the launch tomorrow, we’ve found issues with pairing the bands to our phones via Bluetooth. While the band still functions perfectly fine as a standard MagicBand, allowing us to tap in to the parks, use Lightning Line, and make payments, the enhanced features only work when the MagicBand+ is paired to a smartphone via Bluetooth.

One of our MagicBand+ reads as “paired to device” despite refusing to connect via Bluetooth. What ends up happening is the app shows it as attempting to connect and times out after about 45 seconds.
As a result, we’re unable to modify any customization features or settings related to the band. When opening our Play Disney Parks App, we can still play the Fab 50 Quest game but only if the app is kept open.

Good old Disney IT, let's release something when it doesn't really work completely...

Hi everyone! I have been off the site for a bit…after my trip to WDW last August, I thought maybe I’d take a break from going for awhile. But of course that didn’t last long and now I am in the midst of planning a 2023 trip lol. So I am excited to be following along on this thread again and seeing the news (and the dancing, of course!)

Oh Disney World. Everytime I try to walk away, you manage to get me to come back!

Yeah, I swore my trip this past Spring was going to be my last until at least next year as I don't plan on renewing my AP, but I've been mulling trying to sneak in one more trip before it expires, LOL! The struggle is real!

Chocolate Tacolate coming to Salt & Straw



After almost 40 years, Klondike’s Choco Taco has been discontinued. Fans of the tasty ice cream taco need not be too sad though! A new Chocolate Tacolate is coming to Salt & Straw!

Salt & Straw shared on Instagram that an ice cream taco will be coming for National Taco Day on October 4th.

I was holding out on my Sorcerer's Pass renewal MB purchase and here I am at 4:30 in the morning on Day 1 ordering the Millennium Falcon band. I'm not even sure I'm returning to the parks this year. I've got it bad!

While I always appreciate all you do for this (and other) threads, I have to send over a huge thanks for posting this! I was so worried I'd miss out with them being released after I was already in the office today and wouldn't be able to order til later this evening. Managed to get the ones we wanted for our upcoming September trip! Thank you!
