***Official September 2022 Thread***

Yep, in January we couldn't get a Via Napoli ressie. We are hoping for a Topolino's breakfast!

I love Via Napoli! I got a reservation there around 4:30 in January and I actually LOVED going so early. I had just arrived that day so it was nice to take a break after being up so early for the flight and the hectic airport. I hadn't had anything to eat since the plane so I was ready for some food too! And then I took an early evening. Went on a few rides, Soarin', Living with the Land, and Spaceship Earth were all walk ok after my dinner. Then I had a late ILL for Remy. I was thinking of doing some dessert at the France ice cream shop, but I was still full and tired, so I called it a night.

You know what I REALLY want to do, but it isn't available, is The Crystal Palace for breakfast. I used to love going there and seeing Pooh and having breakfast, but they're only serving lunch and dinner. I was thinking that would be a nice way to spend my last day. Do rope drop and a later breakfast, then one last wander around. Maybe I'd be better with lunch though. That way since I am looking at a later flight coming home I can do lunch there, maybe a little more like 2pm, then leave the park. Then I'd have enough time to go back to POFQ and grab my luggage and go back to the airport.

Space 220 in Epcot and Storybook Dinning at Wilderness Lodge are our #1 ADR's we hope to get. Have never been to either one. We went to Topolino's @pigletgirl in Sept 2020 for breakfast. It was the best breakfast we ate.

For keeping cool I plan to order the cooling towels and I found really strong fans on Amazon for our September trip in 2020 that were great and have a really strong breeze. A cooling spray was brought up by I believe @DaniellePoppins in a previous post I have saved I want to order and try.
Those spray fans in the parks are like $30, so bring all the cooling supplies with you haha.

I’m in Sydney 😄
Highlights from our Sydney visit in October 2014:

1. Walking around the Royal Botanic Garden
2. Pastries from BreadTop
3. Not being able to walk atop the Harbour Bridge because I had broken my leg three weeks before my wedding, but instead going to the lookout at the first pylon
4. Malaysian food at Mamek
5. Taking the ferry to Manly Beach

Received our cooling towels in the mail today (thanks Amazon!). Our past trips were in April or early May so we didn’t experience the heat that we are expecting for September. Hoping these cooling towels help! Anyone have other tips for beating the heat?
Battery operated fans, misting is a plus, but any fan helps. And black umbrellas! Umbrellas helped sooo much in September 2020, that I will never go to Orlando again without one. I bought an umbrellas holder for the wheelchair my husband uses at the park. It's a good 10 degrees cooler under the umbrella.

Correct about AK. We usually spend a good 4-5 hours there, and then do some pool time. Sometime's we will even do a Boma breakfast or dinner.

Speaking of....

What is everyone's #1 ADR to snag?
Storybook Dining and Space 220 are the two big ones I'm going for this year. Of course there are others we have to have every trip, so I'll get those also: Wolfgang Puck, Boathouse, Ragland Road, and Homecomin', and 50s Primetime Cafe. Still thinking about the rest. We may go back to Cape May. My husband says he doesn't mind not having all you can eat crab legs, but that was the biggest draw for me. Also thinking Boma for breakfast one morning, and considering Morimoto Asia one evening.

I did Morimoto in January and it was SOOOO good. I definitely recommend. And the famous ribs are in fact as good as they say.

I’m not feeling super confident about being able to get reservations for 11 but having a mid day meal together in a/c is a major goal of the trip… so getting anything I want at all will be a win!

I have a plan A and B for each day.
Space 220 would be great, but might have to split that into 3 lounge groups or something instead of an actual lunch together.
Ohana dinner on our last MK night is also important to a lot of us. 😬🤞🏻

Plan A - plan B
Epcot: Space 220 - ?
HS: Sci fi - 50s (plan C is skyliner to Sebastians)
AK: tusker house - yak & yeti
Rest day: Sanaa for 6
MK: not sure. Maybe just try to be back at the hotel for lunch 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe steakhouse 71

Bought our park tickets yesterday. Still trying to decide on 3 dinners out of 6. We have a unique mix of a very picky 6 year old (I’m talking hotdogs, chicken nuggets and French fries kinda kid) and grandparents that appreciate fine dining and not big on buffets. Also debating which car service to book. Going to book a limo for the first time because why not, if I already have to pay for airport transfer might as well be fun.

I had good experiences with FL Tours a few years ago and Tiffany Town Car when I used them in January. I didn't use FL Tours again this last time because during covid they weren't offering Sedan service, only Limo or SUV/Van. I think that's still the case, but since you're a larger group you'd be fine.

We are going to forego the car rental and use Lyft and Sunshine Flyer is going to be our tragical departure. I just don't want to buy gas on vacation so no car for us.

Has anyone here used Sunshine flyer? I have such a love/hate relationship with Mears.

I booked sunshine flyer for arrival on Sept trip. Mears for departure . I couldn't decide and figured I'd do a comparison lol. Heard mixed reviews on both in recent months.

Mears was good for our universal trip in April though. Their super shuttle was higher priced than Mears was for upcoming WDW.

Just bought our tickets today- wanted to go ahead so I could include Genie+ and not have to order that feature the day of. Exciting to have our park reservations show up on the app now!

We also decided to drive halfway the Friday before our Saturday check in. Which will mean we will get to Disney by late morning/lunch time. Excited to have a little extra time the first day! Going to plan on heading over to DS. We went ahead and made reservations for Ragland Road for that evening. Getting more real with more things getting put in place!

Managed to pre order a mint green magic band for just $10 which I think is pretty good. I have magic bands from previous visits but I can't find any!
We pulled the trigger too. The plain one color magic band availability is higher than I've seen for many months, so we ordered a round for all four of us.

Of course, that just means I'll spend more once the new ones come out.

Yay! I think it's the smart move. I added G+ after the fact, but it's just one less thing to consider. Maybe there'll even be a price increase, which will reinforce the smart-ness of our decision.

Hello everyone
We booked ours a little while back. Just got around to posting it.
September 3 - 10 at the Art of Animation, Finding Nemo Suites
We are so excited. This is our first time staying there and having skyliner access.
