Good Morning had a segment this morning aboard the Disney Wish. Interior work still has a way to go before it’s finished.

It does, but it can and should get done in time. I think it’s supposed to sail out of the river next week for some testing so it’s moving along appropriately.

New Walkway Now Open in World Celebration East at EPCOT

Now, the World Celebration east bypass is closed and the walkway that will become the new daily walkway to World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Showcase is now open. The new walkway is highlighted in red below, while the old bypass is shown in blue. Also new is the addition of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction.

You can buy a Spike the Bee’s Pollen-Nation Exploration card for $9.99 at select EPCOT stores, and you get to complete the scavenger hunt by finding Spike the Bee around EPCOT. Once you find all the Spikes, you can redeem your finished card for a prize!


But today, the prizes are finally here! When you complete the scavenger hunt, you can choose one offour reusable container prizes, each featuring different characters and colors.

My daughter finished the hunt on Saturday. The Orange Bird container will definitely be gone first. She turned in at the main shop (Creations?) and they had about 1/4 as many as the other containers. The initial place we looked had zero Orange Bird ones

Disney World Testing Mobile Check Out At Resorts



Disney has started to roll out a NEW check out process that could change how you say “goodbye” to your Disney World hotel. According to the Disney website, guests can still opt for the automatic check out, which takes place on the scheduled check-out date at 11AM.

Or, guests can now opt to use a NEW check out service through the My Disney Experience app. Through this mobile check out service, you’ll be able to check out through the app after you’ve left your room.

Note, however, that it is only available at a limited number of resorts at the moment. For now, the mobile check out feature is only available at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort.

It's funny my DH and I were discussing the other day that we had heard the plan was to have daytime fountains to mask the barges and we hadn't seen any vloggers showing the daytime fountains. Guess those plans never came to fruition.

Walked that path today on my way out of Epcot. Much easier.

Nope. Looks like the old pathway will be removed and replaced with greenery. The new path is the only way to get to Cosmic Rewind from now on,

I was thinking the same thing. Super excited for the Wish but was shocked at how much work still had to be done at this late date!!

I was really hoping they would keep the bypasses open after all construction was finished.

That's what I was thinking, it makes more sense to have an extra path from the front of the park to that side of the park, instead of having to loop through the gap between Connections and Celbrations, then heading back again to Cosmic Rewind
