Walt Disney World SWAN, DOLPHIN & SWAN RESERVE RESORTS Information & Questions

Are you allowed to show your mobile reservation on the Disney app at the park or does it have to be a room key? I was hoping to park at Disney on check in day but I also want to get there early so I am sure my room will not be ready yet. Are you able to park there as well on your check out day?

I don't know about the mobile app thing. We had a nightmare getting there, so we didn't check in until 10 pm. I would ask at the desk - or maybe download the Bonvoy app and chat with them. I found them to be very responsive through the app.

And, yes, on your check-out day, you can park there until evening - I think the desk said 11 pm. We checked out and loaded our car, and then spent the day at Epcot before returning to get our car around 8.
 
Hoping someone can post here if/when they have success purchasing individual $LL on their arrival day, prior to check in at any of the SD resorts
 
@disfan2014 I'd download the Swan Dolphin Mobile App click the I'm on Property then use the Text Us! option to send them a message asking about the parking situation before checking in and see what they suggest. I would suggest this as I'm not sure how direct the messages are with the Bonvoy app, they won't know that type of info if its through the Marriott call system.
 
Can reservations for the Swan Reserve booked through Disney be linked to MDE? I booked a vacation package almost three weeks ago and have not had any luck with the confirmation number I was given. I have called Disney multiple times and each time was told they are waiting for the resort to send them some codes? I called the resort direct to ask for a linkable MDE confirmation number. The agent couldn't find my reservation in their system. I have no way of actually viewing my booking details other than the email confirmation I received. This doesn't seem right but I can't get anyone at Disney to give me a good answer.

This sounds like yet another Disney IT issue. If you booked through Disney you should be able to add to MDE, even if you booked through SR/Marriott you'd be able to add. It sounds like there is some issue between Disney & SR. You might call back to SDR at 407-934-4000 M-F between 8-5 and ask for In-House Reservations. See if they can assist you. My gut tells me this is an issue on Disney's end, but the team in the in-house reservations seems to understand the complexities between the two systems.
 
Question here to see if anyone knows: What's the maximum occupancy for a room at the Swan Reserve with 2 queen beds? We'd have three adults and 2 kids under 10 and a suite seems like a waste and more than we'd need

Based on this page it appears occpancey is Swan Reserve - 2 Adults / 2 Children of the three resorts the SR rooms are the smallest at 330 sq ft
 
Will swan hold my bags on check-in day? Arriving before 9am and want to get to the parks.

I called SDR again this morning. They have no record of my reservation and told me to call Disney, again. The reservationist sort of hinted that Disney may have booked me a room that wasn't available. I called Disney and talked to someone in Guest Services who had me on hold for 45 minutes while he looked at my account and the reservation. Rather than keep me on hold longer, he took my number and said he'd call me back. That was three hours ago. I've paid the package in full and am five days away from the 30-day mark. I'm not feeling good about this and am really dismayed at how bad Disney's customer service has gotten.
