Candlelight Processional Dining packages are posted!

Despite being awake prepared and ready at 4:45 am CST Tuesday, like many of you I got shut out by Disney IT. After all the tech and customer service errors with the CP package website and routine checking since I have still not been able to find a reservation for any restaurant on the first day, Friday 11/26, for 6. This is the only day we can go with the grandparents as they leave Saturday. And we return to MN on Sunday.

It feels like it will be trying to catch lightning in a bottle to happen to be checking for a reservation at the exact time a group of 6 has a cancellation on the night of the first CP in two years. Vloggers and mega fans out in full force… The day afterThanksgiving. First day for Festival of the Holidays…

Super disappointing. We skipped the AH/Xmas party even though we planned to go but then pricing came out and it is crazy at 229+tax each during TG week… yikes!! And now we are missing the CP too. My 78 year old inlaws can’t wait in the stand by line for that the length of time.

And we have never been to either.

Venting…

edit: and I know we are still fortunate to be able to do what we have planned. Frustrating nonetheless

SOOOOOO frustrating. As others have said, set up alerts. They are your best hope to snap up a cancellation.

Is it possible to set up an alert for a CP dining package?

You can set up an alert for a certain restaurant at a certain day and time. If you choose a CP restaurant it will most likely be for the CP, but you cannot specify CP only. Hope that makes sense?

That's pretty amazing. I was worried that they would show up differently, somehow, and that would prevent the alert from working as hoped.

I set up a TP alert Tuesday for Biergarten Dec 23 at 5:00. Yesterday morning I got alerted to openings. When I jumped on the site sure enough they were for CP. like I said, most likely it will be CP if you choose a date/time during typical CP hours. Just make sure you look at the res before booking it. Good luck!!!

Does anyone know when we will be able to see the menus , all it says is Prix Fixe ?

I just got an alert and found multiple times available for Biergarten on 12/3. Got ours with a 5pm dinner and an 8:30 show - so keep an eye out!

Yes, I set an alert, and got multiple times just now showing up for Biergarten.

Like others have speculated, I suspect that Disney was having technical issues, and just didn't want to admit it.

I was able to grab two one for 12/8 that reads Biergarten (8:30) Dinner and one for 12/7 that just says Biergarten Dinner. Really wanted the 7th but grabed the 8th since it showed up first- am I to assume that the one on the 7th means no show voucher? Thanks

I couldn't get a dining package when they supposedly opened for reservations earlier, either, and I've been checking back as often as I can. just now there were a few dinner openings for the Biergarten on 12/9, which is the only day I can go, so I grabbed it. It's my husband's least favorite restaurant, and I may keep checking to see if I can get anything else. But keep checking - there is hope.

That's my plan, but I'm really getting sick of checking all day, every day.

From what I'm seeing Biergarten is the least expensive. Just was able to snag one for 12/5 at 4:30 for the 7:00 show!
