How would the view of Harmonious be from the fireworks cruise?

Anyone who watched Harmonious have an opinion on the viewing angle from the fireworks cruise boats? I'm afraid the projections on that big ring won't be viewable. I sure don't want to pay for a fireworks cruise for a less than optimum view.

I don't know how close the boats get.. but the show heavily relies on projections and water movement on the barges.. there are no much high level fireworks in sky..

I don't even think that the fireworks dining locations are prime spots for seeing it… I went last night and so far best locations seem to me right in front of the big circle-main screen… so the esplanade, US & Japan locations

all that said.. being at the cruise could be a nice experience too..but if it would be the only night reserved for seeing it, I would vote for being at those locations

I saw this YouTube video posted on a Facebook that has the show from the side.

It seems like a quality experience (kinda like HEA from behind the castle) but probably not a perfect, only time you will ever watch Harmonious event.

That can be answered by taking info from anyone who viewed the show from the UK bridge.
The Cruise boats tie up (for viewing) at the same area as that bridge. (See "6a" and "7" on the map below.)
Now, if the views do turn out to be lacking from there it is possible that they might decide to allow the Cruise boats to enter the Lagoon and tie off elsewhere. Possibly at the Friendship dock(s) "A" and/or "C" on the map.
(Due to safety restrictions, that might not be allowed.)
Time will tell.

I can't book a cruise until the middle of October, which probably works out for the best. I will watch for reviews from posters who have seen it from the cruise.

Viewed from the bridge with 4 cruises watching last night. It’s not a terrible view but you do miss some of the action on the main circle screen. There are two secondary screens that show some of the scenes that should be viewable from the cruise boats.

Thank you. I've done a couple of fireworks cruises to see Illuminations, which is why I'm afraid that the view from under the bridges won't be great.

from the cruise you are looking right at the side of the Stargate, so the projections in the center won't be visible. You do get to see the ones on the "tacos." If you want to look down the throat of the Stargate, Japan, Italy, USA around the sides of the theater, and the esplanade between the shops appear to be the best angles.

Thank you. What do you see in the tacos? The same projections, or different ones?

We found that area is not great for viewing. Last night we had dinner at Rose & Crown. You can’t see the center projections at all from there.

the projections on the tacos are related to the ones seen inside the Stargate, but not always identical.

It’s a shame that there doesn’t seem to be a paid viewing area that can see the main projections! Seems to defeat the purpose!
