I think, based on what the agent was telling me earlier today when they put me on hold, that part of the long wait times, is that the process is taking longer to get people booked. Especially if they have OBB to use, since according to the agent that helped me, the back office has to apply the OBB and she ended up having me on hold for close to 30 minutes waiting for that to get done. Then once it was finished she apologized saying that the back office was being swamped with calls which was delaying everything.

A friend of mine just got disconnected after 7.5 hours on hold. She’s silver, but the online system isn’t recognizing her status. She can see on her castaway cay page that she’s silver, but the early booking is not recognizing it

Have you tried putting a hold on the itinerary/stateroom you want online? It will keep your room/rate for 5 days to buy you the time to get through to an agent for OBB/FCC application.

Well 3 hours in so sounds like I will take to someone around 8pmEST things I've done so far graded 60 labs, updated 2 sets of google slides, drove home, got children, ran on the treadmill, took a shower, got dinner in the oven, and not typed this...... Just checked cabins and all the ones I want are gone. I would never wait on hold this long but I have a placeholder what has the OBC attached to it and I want to use it!!!!

Ugh. Yesterday I called at 0930 for an hour hold I was off the phone after and hour and a half. Today, I called right at 8 and I'm still listening to music. Uuuuuuggggghhhh.

I find that to be an excellent timing to fold the laundry.
