If you sign up to my tip jar account, im sure that can be arranged. I'd stay away from Aurora though, she sked.me to pick up some penicillin on the way home in the week..So, my weekends now can be most any day of the week. Do I get to request custom princess deflowering or continue to wait for Friday like everyone else?
Glad you got on there. I always enjoy catching up with some of the dads, it's just the start time is a killer. All part and parcel of being an international disdad. I don't know how Darrell does it that often, although I think he does night shift work.Had a great time on the Zoom chat last night, my first in a very long time. I'm going to try and make more of those
I'm using the cover of the marathon. I've actually pitched the half marathon, as its the 25th anniversary, which seemed to pass the hurdle of acceptability, so I have approval. And plus I can run a half marathon hung over. I have a voucher for the cancelled flight this year, and I'll use points, so if Mickey re-introduces non-renewal APs, that trip would effectively be gratis. Apart from trying to keep up with the Chief in rum. Which I would imagine can be quite damaging to one's bank account.Yes, there's a convention, and they have one every year, usually in January."
Congrats on the job offer, my friend! And golf shirts...nice! Although with me working from home it's jeans and t-****s for me. Once the office opens back up I'll most likely be in button downs. Flexibility in work is a good thing...that's great.
Congrats!
Happy that it worked out so well for you.
Except (at least here, I haven't watched everywhere else) it worked. Our numbers quadrupled (at least) when restrictions were (mostly) removed. When restrictions were put in place, the numbers came down again.
I know you're kidding about Covid being smart to avoid sections, but the science does work. You're just looking at it wrong.

Morning, Gents! Had a great time on the Zoom chat last night, my first in a very long time. I'm going to try and make more of those. So, umm....I broached the subject of the DisDads Convention with the Mrs. last night. She just rolled her eyes, and said, "There's a convention?" She doesn't understand. I said, "Yes, there's a convention, and they have one every year, usually in January." I then let it go. One must work these things in slowly, you know. A lot like cooking lobster, turning the heat up slowly. I'll wear her down, it may not be by next year, but it'll happen at some point.
Well, that's all I've got. Heading to church this morning to make some money, I get paid to sing in churches, though the congregation will be online, I'll be in the building singing. So...money! That's all I've got. Have a good day, gents!
That's truth...on many levels.Because obviously, we do not have any Smarties down here...
See aboveWhat's happening to America is the same as putting a lobster in a pot of water and slowly turning up the heat.
Congrats!!!In the end, this one made the most sense. Not just the $, but I still get the time off & flexibility to travel for hopefully the next decade.
My fear also and glad I have plenty of ammo.I fear the plan is to make the national debt so unsustainable that we just implode. I won't be leaving my house to make it to jail. If it comes to that, then they can have my bullets. They will just be travelling really fast.
Congrats on the new job.Happy Saturday. The hospital called yesterday with an offer that exceeded my expectations. The negotiations were over quickly. So, I start back to work Feb 1. My uniform is golf shirts, and I need to go shopping with the clothing voucher they sent. I have to call Monday and get my vaccine and last work exam records faxed over, and on Tuesday, go to be fitted for my N95 mask, drug test, etc.

Morning chaps. Not much going on in the mother country, NFL channel is on for Championship Sunday. Need some door handles to finish off the hallway and the downstairs, and then just waiting for the carpet guys, which is in a couple of weeks. I Introduced the boy to Steak and Eggs for breakfast, safe to say he is now a fan. Mark would have approved, there was not a vegetable in sight.

And candy too! It's my type of candy store with guns, knives, tents, etc.
I won't quote everything you posted as much of it is political (in the sense that it's happening in your country, specifically). What am I looking at wrong?

Hopefully catch up with youse guys on the book of face at game time.
Have a morally fulfilling, community enriching, and all round good guy day today.
Failing that, just relax in the Lazy Boy with a Frosty one and watch football all day whilst eating cheetos.
I would have worn the scrubs if they had wanted me to, but golf shirts aren't bad. We have the one store in town that has them embroidered with the logo.
See above
Been a quite day, wasn't feeling the best after last night's chat so I took it easy. I did managed to get in a run on our new treadmill though. We picked it up yesterday after making two trips to the store to get it. First one was aborted because the box was about an inch and a half longer than the storage area in the CR-V so a trip to in in-laws was required to get their van. About 3 hours to get it together yesterday and rearranging the family room and we are ready to run.
Glad you made it, it was good talking to you in real time.
Wish we could get those Zoom calls started earlier but they just don't seem to work earlier. Most weeks you could jump in when you get up though, especially when George is your alarm.
Nice.Had a good church gig Sunday and earned some Disney World money from it,
That's a good way to do it. You: "Honey? I'm going to run the Disney Marathon." Wife: "Isn't the same time as the DDCC?" You: "Is it? I didn't know."
Morning folks.
Saturday for me today. Glad I'm up at 6am. Ah well.
Nice.
Did catch the highlights of the two NFL games. Looked like good games. Soooo... who's happy and who's not?
Oh, just a smidge.Do I detect a hint of sarcasm?
Nice. All my church gig money goes into my vacation account, minus what I pay to the government for taxes, of course.
I didn't have a horse in the race either. I'm rooting for whoever my friends are rooting for.My team wasn't in it, so I don't care. I'll watch the big game for the commercials and the halftime show.

The start time is around 2am for me, so by the time you've had a decent chinwag it ends up being a 4am bedtime. That would be fine if I had the opportunity to sleep in until 10 or 1030, but the kids invariably wake me up. I'll try to get up earlier and get on, but I keep thinking I will be the guy who turns up right at the end of the party and everyone else is hammered. I get on once every few months. Like I say, it is what it is. Not grousing at all, I'm part of an American (in terms of continents, stand down Canadians) group, I wouldn't dream about b!tch!ng about time zones. That would be what, 3am? That would be really late for you...or early, depending how you look at it. Don't blame you for not wanting to make it.
The good Lady K is a learned woman about a great many things, the scheduling of DDCCs is not one of them, and I am happy not to assuage her knowledge bank of that particular piece of trivia. I would pass it off as an added bonus rather than a reason to attend. Once flights have been booked and rooms secured. That's a good way to do it. You: "Honey? I'm going to run the Disney Marathon." Wife: "Isn't the same time as the DDCC?" You: "Is it? I didn't know."
As a Bears fan, but also as a Brit NFL fan, as I said on the chat last night, rooting for Brady was like deciding whether to cut your right or left hand off. Darcy to be fair took that particular analogy and somewhat unsurprisingly, sent it off into Friday Night territory. I couldn't root for the Packers. So, I am mildly pleased the Bucs won.Soooo... who's happy and who's not?
Yeah, I thought I saw it spreading across the floor.
Very subtle.rooting for Brady was like deciding whether to cut your right or left hand off.
Actually... so am I.So, I am mildly pleased the Bucs won.
I really feel sorry for one of my mates, he is a big Tampa fan, so would have had the opportunity to be in Tampa whilst Tampa are in the Superbowl. But he obviously can't get out there. In true British friend style I have been sending him flight offers for Tampa all morning, as there are still flights. With friends like me.....

The point I was trying to make is you stated that the virus was smart enough to avoid essential items, or something like that (not feeling like going back and quoting). I said you were looking at that wrong. I made no mention of Pelosi or Birx (I don't even know who that is) or most of what you commented on. (And all of it was interesting! Thanks for writing all that.)
When you limit shoppers to only buying essential items in a store, you are reducing the number of people shopping in the store. Which automatically increases social distancing and decreases the number of opportunities for contact transmission.
What I'm saying is if 3 people need to go to Walmart; 1 for apples, 1 for a toaster, 1 for shoes... then 2 out of the 3 people are staying home. Also, if all three are shopping for all three items, you are reducing the amount of time all three spend in the store.
