What’s your opinion of the TV show Schitt’s Creek?


I love it!
I have one more season left to watch and then I’ll be done
It’s not to often that I rewatch shows, but I will rewatch this.

Other -- I started to watch it but couldn't get into it, so we gave up after a few episodes. But everyone else seems to love it, and say that it doesn't hit its stride till later, so maybe we need to give it another try.

I love it.

I started to watch it a few months ago and couldn't get into it at all.

Then I got really bored and pushed through the first few episodes and all of a sudden I got "hooked" by the characters.

I finished it a few weeks ago and I am missing it. They were just the right short, quick, fun episodes I needed!

Absolutely, hands down, the best series I have ever watched. I think we have gone through it 5 or so times now. It's brilliant, hilarious, heartwarming, and simply the best.

Amazing writing and storytelling. I usually don’t laugh out loud but this show made me do so. Like any series, the first episode doesn’t really do the show justice. You have to allow the writers to find their groove and characters to fully develop themselves.

Love it. Like others, the first few episodes we were like..."eh"....but kept going and fell in love with it. We've watched the whole series three times. Great show.

Have definitely heard of it but have yet to watch it. It's only a matter of time before I start. I will have to remember to give it some time. I have read all positive reviews. Bing Bang Theory and Everybody Loves Raymond used to make me laugh out loud. I still watch the re-runs. I don't laugh as much since I have watched all the episodes enough times. Never get tired of them (along with some other shows).

Love it. We weren’t that interested at first. However, it was talked about so much in my office, we decided to give it a try. We were hooked right from the get go. As someone said above, short fun episodes, just right. We also enjoyed watching the characters grow. Loved David. We had a hard time realizing that Moira was also the mom on Home Alone.

This is exactly how I feel too.

But after reading everyone’s comments, I just want to skip work today and try to binge watch it.

It’s funny seeing Catherine O’Hara described that way. She’s one of the most renowned Canadian comedic actors of all time.

all the seasons. I don't love it and wouldn't call myself a harcore fan, but defenetly good for a laugh

and johny rose reminds me of the guy who narates the carousel of progress. first time I heard him I had to look it up.

One of the best shows of the past 20 years, if not ever. We’ve watched the full 6 seasons at least 4 times and watch reruns of the episodes on Comedy Central or a local channel here that airs them whenever we can.

I like the show overall...Moira Rose is a gem of insanity and I love her. The rest is a little up and down as funny/not funny IMHO. But I prefer quirky shows to ordinary shows anyday.

I’ve never been able to get past the title - I always assumed it would be just another same old, same old vulgar and banal sitcom. Maybe I’ll give it the requisite 4 episodes (as recommended here) to see if I’m wrong.

This is how I felt about Stranger Things. Once I got into it, I binged it and can't wait for the next season.

What makes Schitt's Creek funnier for me is that Moira is a mirror of a friend of mine. It's almost as if because she has money, she must talk and act that way. Her DDs are similar to Alexis in mannerisms and the way she speaks. It adds a layer to how funny it is for me.
