The WDW Comeback: Before/After Game

For Rise, I say before just to be a contrarian. But in all honesty, they have the queues set up. Eventually they’re going to use them. I think we’re going to see a major change come to the way we pre-select rides with the genie, and I think the Rise situation will be ironed out within that rollout. If not, I still think FP/Standby will still arrive for the ride, even if it’s soon after the 7/22 date chosen

They might be waiting for GotG and Tron to open to attract the crowds to other parks first, so it depends on when they both are open. If before 7/1/2022 - then before, if not then after.

For the Rise queue I will say before 7/1/22 there is some sort of standby system - it might not be exact same as other attractions and there still might be some form of virtual queue (for like if the line gets longer than 2 hours or something), but there will be some sort of "regular" queue element prior to then

A big reason I think the ride will move forward with FP/Standby is also predicated on if/when the ride can run without issue on a regular basis. If they can get the ride to run on all cylinders, I think that’s when we’ll start hearing rumors of the change away from BGs

I definitely agree with that - and knowing there has been some improvement, I really hope there is continued improvment and a decent level of reliability well before 7/1/22

Rise will see “normal” line operations, whatever that means for the rest of WDW, BEFORE 7/2022. I tend to agree that it will fall into whatever reboot of FP or Genie occurs, also before then.

Topic 7: When will Rise of the Resistance include a traditional Standby queue (see notes)?
Will it be included Before or After: 7/1/2022

Note: Essentially, when will guests be able to show up anytime at DHS and get in line for ROTR without the current Boarding Group. This change can be any combination of Standby only, or Standby and Virtual Queue, or Standby and FastPass+, etc.

When it does open especially if before "normal" I expect some kind of virtual queue/BG system which might also give incentive to wait till genie is ready as well.

Before, we have already seen test rides done, unless those are of the DLP ride trying to fool us. But Def opens for F&G fest

Topic 8 = My vote is before. Between finishing up the area, removing the barriers, and the fact that 3/8 is over 7 weeks away with very little cleanup left I just have a feeling.
