And not only to onsite guests but to annual passholdersIronic that they're calling it "early entry", which is the same term Universal uses. But at least Universal offers an hour of early entry.

What I meant was how will they PHYSICALLY separate the two? It seems like by the time you got everyone sorted the 30 minutes would be up.The same way they did for morning EMH. Onsite guests' hotels are linked to their MDE account which can be read via ticket card or Magic Band, so the main entrance tapstiles can be set to only allow onsite guests through, and offsite guests will have to wait until the posted opening time.
Holy cow, it’s one thing after another. We hadn’t utilized EMH as much because of our touring plans changing as we had kids, but knowing they were there was great. I haven’t had time to think this through, but my initial thought is that 30 min won’t be enough to make a difference at all except to really hurt off site guests every days (which as I type that maybe makes sense, huh). It’s kind of a version of what they already did, opening a little early, it will just be every day and official now (and only for on site guests). They just chip and chip away at stuff, don’t they? I think COVID is going to give many businesses the excuse they needed to permanently end a lot of things...
So true. An hour would sound like more of a benefit. That's if you get 30 minutes. We used to line up for a bus to the park over an hour before it'd open for EMH. The bus wouldn't show up until 20 minutes before the park opening and we'd get there 25-30 minutes into EMH once through security.
Thank you!
It's really not going to make a difference in your day, that's the issue. This is, at best, a large reduction in the perk of EMHs, at worst this will make literally no difference in your day. Also, I'm sure in a year, maybe two they will start scaling back "early entry" to only some days a week..The benefit now is that there is no such thing as rope dropping a park unless you stay on property.
Sad, but true. The benefit now is that there is no such thing as rope dropping a park unless you stay on property.
No, later this year. No date was providedDoes this start as of today?
Thank you. We’ll be there the 24th. This had me thinking we’d need to get moving earlier. Oh, well.....No, later this year. No date was provided
