Poll: What would you replace Hall of Presidents with?

Does anyone think it's really FUN? The first time I saw it as a kid I thought it was neat due to the robotic banter. Ever since it just isn't something that draws me to watch over and over. And the lack of robotic banter is what hurts it the most for me now as I really don't need to re-watch the videos two, three etc times. Being an American I already know the history of our country so it feels like sitting through history class again (yawn). At the very least ramp up the banter and drop out some of the video presentation. Inject a bit more humor and make the attraction FUN. WDW is about having a good time with your family and the HoP just isn't that great for all ages. I mean who's teen begs to go to it and who's young kid loves sitting through it? I doubt any, my kids went once and since try to avoid it like the plague.

I would be happy if they changed it to something that appeals to all ages and makes the young kids skip in excitement on the way inside.

WDW is littered with experiences that most would consider "no fun" but "cool" or "interesting"
not everything has to be fun, they are appealing to certain demographics, that's what makes WDW a well rounded destination for all ages

I look at it that the stage will never get less crowded and the introductions shorter. With that being said, I think there needs to be a change, but not sure how it will be executed. Perhaps a true hallway that guests walk through with the Presidents lined on both sides (obviously behind protective glass); an omnimover-esque style presentation.

I think the point was that HOP included Nixon even though he was impeached. Changing HOP to eliminate Trump would be erasing history even though it is something that half this country seems to want done. This is why I voted for Muppets. I'd rather change it completely than have it politicized.

Nixon was never technically impeached. He resigned before they could of course, but still. There are other impeached presidents still included in the HOP. I don't think they should eliminate anyone in the big scene with them all together, but they should not have modern politicians making the speech and instead defer to Lincoln or one of the non-controversial presidents. Lincoln is pretty much the most non-controversial to most people.

Sure, but if HOP isn't attracting enough people there's not really any reason to keep it.

Um I do. But I did get a degree in Political Science and have had a love of presidential history ever since a little kid so minority opinion.

I’d find a Hall OF Oats more entertaining than Hall AND Oates!!

I have to admit, I like American Adventure way more than HOP. As much as I like to see some of the “original” rides preserved, I do love me some Muppets......I vote to make HS into a total Star Wars park, change HOP to Great Moments, and somehow still keep Tower of Terror. They should be able to get all that done by the 50th, right??

These all serve a purpose during busy times though to suck in some people. They are also many of them classics. That said, when attendance is dwindling, they can absolutely consider making changes. Personally I prefer keeping the general concept but sprucing it up a bit (CoP I'm looking at you). These days I think shorter shows are in order because I think people see them as taking up too much time. They could definitely shorten the run time on HOP.

I like the idea of a walk through. Maybe just have the last scene set and people can just walk close to the stage and get pics?
I know a lot of people use these attractions as a way to relax and have something to watch, great for when it's raining or too hot

CoP was a huge deal to Walt and that is one of the few that needs to stay open and get some attention. BUT that hand incident... there was something sadly funny seeing that.

I would love a revamp on all of these. The fear is that Disney lately have been closing things with no replacement as opposed to giving them much needed love and attention.

And if you are adjusting HoP because of Trump you'll need to worry about The American Adventure at Epcot too.

I love CoP but it could use an overhaul. That last scene has become so dated and it never made sense to jump so far anyway - I'd say either restore it to the original 1960s scene and keep it as a time capsule or redo it to have larger time jumps ending in the not-too-distant future. It really needs a fifth scene but I don't think they could do that without tearing it down and rebuilding it completely.
