We have had to let 1 or 2 points go before. It kind of stinks but, in the grand scheme of things didn’t make a difference.

If it helps, I am losing 5 points this year after an 11 year streak. The contract I bought came with 100 banked expiring November 30th and I only was able to use 95! So I beat you by 3! Hahaha

A little bit, but not massively closer. CT to Hilton Head is about 2/3 of the way to Orlando and it's hard to book a studio there at short notice. Thanks for the idea, but its not enough to entice me.
The other thing is... if we come up with a constructive solution to my situation, then it wrecks the purpose of this thread for me: Just to complain about my unimportant problem

Nothing wrong with a good complaint session!

I recommend printing out the webpage and ceremonially lighting it on fire. If you have a bow and arrow and medium-sized body of water, maybe go full Viking Funeral, but that may be overboard for anything less than 5 points.

How about a thread for unreasonable complaints? I can think of some good topics...
"The points I didn't use EXPIRED at the end of my UY... #$%!!"

Is there a minimum to transfer to RCI? You guys could transfer the stray points and continue to complain about not being able to use them for 2 more years!

Edit: I'm teasing because I know it'll probably happen to me somewhere down the line

I'm not going to obsess over using these two points. Whether my waitlist reservation gets confirmed or not, doesn't matter to me. If it happens, it happens.

Just in case, I checked to see...I'm still waitlisted. Just like every hour over the past three days I checked. But it's not a concern to me.

Add eight points for a one night stay in an OKW studio in January for Festival of the Arts.

Or if you don't want to do it, call up a friend/family member who lives in Florida and ask them if they'd like to spend a night at OKW in January for $100, then borrow 8 points, combine it with your 2 to make 10, and everybody wins.
