can anyone tell me if the coffee makers have been removed from the rooms?
if so, has anyone brought their own since the pandemic started And how did that go.

Oh I forgot to mention.. when we were bringing our items from the car after check in we were walking down the back pathway (near skyliner) and my daughter was excited and talking and I was on the phone with hubby letting him know we had made it and were getting the last few things from the car and my daughter ALMOST stepped on a moccasin!! It was small...about as big around as a pencil but about 14 inches long. We have them near our home as well so I know that's what it was. It curled back and opened it mouth and I screamed and she jumped back towards me and it slithered off into the grass behind building 2 of the 50s. I looked around for a cast member and saw the sign that says attention there are snakes and alligators in the lake.... I did go ahead and tell a guy I saw on a golf cart and he just nodded. I told him I saw the sign but just wanted him to be aware. On a lighter note we also saw 4 adorable bunnies playing in the bushes this morning (I hope the alligators didnt see them too!)

Leaving in the morning for disney and our first ever stay at pop century! We usually stay at all star movies but i am super excited to try a new resort on this surprise mommy daughter trip!! (She still has no clue!! She finds out once we are in the car tomorrow! Shes probably going to say why arent we headed towards school... my reply will be we are skipping school and headed to disney!)

How did your daughter react to your surprise??

We are here right now and have a coffee maker in our room.

Pleased to say that we are booked at Pop for the beginning of our split stay next October. We’ll be at Pop October12-17, 2021 before moving to Yacht Club. It’ll be our first stay at both resorts. So hoping that things are better this time next year.

We booked a standard room. Any suggestions on room requests? We have a scooter and would prefer to be closer to the main building.

She loved the surprise!... well after I convinced her I was serious lol I had told her several times this year no disney trips this year and she thought i was kidding lol. Then when she realized she threw her hands up and said Yay we are going to disney!!

Reading conflicting info regarding Skyliner and times, and no busses from Pop. I also read about Uber to a local spot by HS, then walk? Do they let you walk into entrance and if so, any specific way to go? It seems to be changing from posts I read in August and trying to get most updated info and best way to get from Pop to HS Tuesday. Have not been to Pop/Disney since Skyliner!

We are staying at Pop for the first time in a couple of weeks and were wondering if we can have groceries delivered, water and some breakfast food? We were looking at using Prime Fresh.

are there no longer standard rooms in the 60s buildings? when checking in on line, the only choices for pr building preference is 70's and 50's.

There are standard rooms in all buildings and sections at Pop. We’re not too sure why only 50’s and 70’s is being displayed. It has been brought to Disney’s attention.

If you want to request the 60’s 80’s or 90’s, it’s recommended that you call Disney.

How is the skyliner line later in the morning? Asking anyone who’s been there recently. We have no intention to rope drop DHS so would head there later in the morning (11ish maybe?). We would probably like to get to Epcot at 12ish for 11 opening. Just wondering what it’s like at that time of day.

Not too bad. We were usually there between 10-11 and the lines sometimes looked crazy (at CBR), but moved really fast. Even when it wrapped all around the bus stop (right around 10am) it only took about 20 minutes. Lines at Pop were never that bad after the initial DHS rush cleared out.

90 mins before rope drop is recommended at a minimum. Earlier if you can. Even though the park 'opens' at a certain time, these days you are not held in the hub and some attractions open prior to actual rope drop time.

10/5? I was in that line, too. That was our worst bus line experience of the trip.
