Are people not fans of the Tim Tracker?

I watch his Disney vlogs, but avoid the rest. I also watch Adam the Woo when he is in Florida.

I was thinking it was just because he's gotten used to eating at higher end restaurants now. He did say that he liked this year's Food and Wine offerings more than previous years. I've heard a lot of ppl say that and it makes sense since they are going through less of it this year so it isn't as mass produced.

You may be talking about ResortTV1 - they're a brother and sister team that I enjoy watching. People do send them money to support the channel but don't have to in order to be mentioned. They're really genuinely nice people in my opinion and deserve all of the success that comes their way. Both still have full time jobs also. He's a band teacher and I think she works in retail. Good people like I said and often their parents join them on live streams in the parks.

I've seen the DVC points being given away this year mostly. Haven't noticed it in the past. It makes sense that people want to have their points used this year rather than expire and many aren't willing to travel to use them themselves. I've really enjoyed watching Paging Mr. Morrow's DVC stays in particular.

The Trackers were opening packages sent 2 years or longer ago on their livestreams during the quarantine. Their PO Box has been closed for quite awhile.
Thanks but the people I am talking about are not brother and sister they are a married couple with kids. I wish I could remember who they were. I know who you are talking about and I like them too and I agree about ResortTV1. I must say I do like Prince Charming Dev. He too seems genuinely nice.

I don't mind TT but I really don't like when average Joe people try to be food critics. Sure I can tell you what I like/don't like, but I sure as heck don't understand the finer nuances of fine food. Can't stand amateur food critics. It's fine to discuss atmosphere, what's on the menu, but don't start "diving" into the dish. Face it you don't know what you're doing.

Ah, okay - I don't watch anyone who livestreams other than ResortTV1. For vloggers I like Paging Mr. Morrow and Prince Charming Dev the most. I do still watch some of the Trackers' vlogs but not as many as the others I mentioned.

You mean you don't like the "I would order that again" reviews?

I like Mr. Morrow too but I do not watch him as much.

I like Mr. Morrow too but I do not watch him as much. I also like to watch Big Fat Panda on occasion.

I was on FB a few weeks ago and one of my friends posted a video of her DS. It was Mr. Morrow! I knew she had a DS named Nate, but I didn't see him around as much as his brother. I was a Girl Scout leader with his Mom from Daisy scouts until Ambassador scouts.

What a small world! She and his sister were with him in December in his videos. You can see and hear the love he has for his mother and it was so much fun hanging out (virtually) in the parks with them. Now I can't wait to meet him again in person.

I gotta say I have a lot of fatigue from watching people endlessly talk about COVID fears and restrictions. TT is one of them. Example; in one of his videos he went into Cosmic Rays and ordered a hot dog. He KNEW they had a condiments station, yet then complained that he was too scared to touch the condiments, and complained that he would then have to eat a plain hot dog. OK, then, maybe don't get a hot dog - don't set yourself up to be disappointed just so you can talk about it. Sorry, but the DIS guys do this sometimes too. All of the vloggers have done the "first time back" shows, there is really no need to continue to make the occasional exposed nose the focus of your posts anymore. same goes for thoughts and experiences while wearing a mask. It's just part of the experience now - get on with it.

YOU are so right!! TT was washing his mail and washing his hands every 15 minutes when quarantined and his wife was staying home to be safe but just dangle a nice free meal in front of him at an upscale restaurant and suddenly it's okay.

I thought it was crazy how they were taking baby Jackson into the parks right before they all shut down. Like, it was all over the news at that point. Then they suddenly swung to the other extreme. I don't know, always struck me as odd.

With all their wiping things down and not going out, they made me feel bad because I was not wiping everything down. Now they are going to resorts. (I don't feel comfortable going to a hotel right now.) Did they wipe down the entire inside of the Treehouse? I don't see how they could have stayed there, based on how strict they previously were with everything. Plus, they cooked there and used the provided utensils - I assume they had to wash everything before they used it. And, I believe the baby was crawling on the floor of the Treehouse at one point? I'm just confused about it all.

I think everyone in this time is constantly evolving with regards to what they're comfortable with. I last flew on March 8th, wouldn't step foot on a plane right now, and I certainly will fly at some point in the future.

I agree it's been interesting to watch his progression but it just seemed he was trying to stay strict initially on certain aspects of what he was willing to do.

Not sure you can really know his income, although I suppose you can guesstimate based on view counts and whatnot.

It's a serious commitment to create and upload that many videos. Fact is, for every one that makes it to that level and beyond, many many many others do not. It's a typical "you can do it too" illusion, yielding all sorts of emotions from those who envy the few that really do succeed at it.
Apparently there is a formula that You Tube uses. I am pretty sure the poster who posed 450K watched the same You Tube video I saw where the poster calculated Tim's salary using the formula. I am guessing since that person is also a You Tuber they understand how the formula works. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name but if you search for it on You Tube it will come up but the calculation was too difficult for me to follow so I cannot give it to you here.

There was a certain point where it became worth it for him to quit his job as well as factoring in that Jen doesn't work (outside of editing Tim's vlogs which is basically a full time job in itself). I figure that point was where maybe he can make at least twice the salary of his day job. I'm sure he's making much more than that now.

Tim and Jenn Slacker only know 3 phrases when it comes to food reviews

"So delicious"
"Very refreshing"
"Good, but not the best I have had"

I just looked again one place has him at 450k another not nearly as much but he’s still raking it in. He’s the best in the business on Disney videos imo. I don’t watch his home blogs but many people do.
Whatever he makes I think we all can agree he has made it in you tube.

The sad part is, TheTimTracker only made it to where they are now, because they were first, flooded the Youtube algorithm with daily videos.

If they were to start over today, they wouldn't have 10% the following they do now. Their finished product quality is mediocre to bad. There are so many more "Disney Vloggers" out there with much higher production quality than them it's ridiculous. For a couple that have been doing this for 10 years, you'd think they would attempt to make a better effort at getting better at what they do. The editing is still atrocious with so many jump cuts and leaving things in that add nothing to the vlog. The only thing that has changed in their product is going from SD to HD. Well, outside of Tim being a chameleon and changing his look to whatever is popular at the time.

It's no secret that Tim and Jenn are bigger Universal fans than Disney, but they have to pretend like they are Disney Die Hards since they got on the ever so elusive Disney Media list. Then again, TIm and Jenn are known to be compulsive liars. They claim they are huge Harry Potter fans, but haven't seen all the movies, nor read any of the books. They say what will get them supported and what not.

They want to portray this image of being your run of a mill, down to earth, average working class couple. I don't begrudge anyone for "making it" it's just a bit hypocritical to drop 2K on a sweater, or 3K for a one night stay in a Copper Creek Cabin, and then wax poetic about if a 8.99 hot dog is worth it. They are showcasing a lot of things that the average person can't afford/experience, but yet they want people to believe they are just "normal" working class people.

Also what bothered me the most was them leaving Superchats on for so long on Youtube when they did live streams, they feigned ignorance on the fact they didn't know how to turn it off, told people not to donate money, but yet kept every single penny. This would've been okay for maybe the first time they did a live stream, but if you tell people not to use Superchat, I would've looked up right after that live stream how to deactivate it. Not to plead with people every week for months not to send them money before they "finally" find a way to deactivate said feature. I'd have no issue with Superchats being active, if you didn't actively tell people not to use it, and then pocket that cash.

Also, let's be honest, if there wasn't a pandemic going on, all that mail they've been sitting on for years would still be sealed and unopened. They were desperate for content, so they fell back to "Well, we got all these letters and boxes to open, might as well do that." That shows you how little they care about their fans. Someone could take the time and effort to send them a well written letter or hand made knick knack, and what did they do with it? Left it in a box to rot until they were so desperate for content they decided to open it. They had one live stream recently where they opened a parcel that contained a hand made knit blanket that someone spent A YEAR MAKING that they sent the Trackers for their dog who just recently died. Jenn showed real emotion in that moment, Tim on the other hand was a stoic, emotionless clod who quickly changed the subject.
