Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

The "make a reservation" link on the mobile browser is actually the dining prompt covered by the COVID19 closure. IDK if that page or calendar will actually mean anything for the park reservation system. I have my bets on the MDE dropdown where is says Disney Park Pass System. It's where FP+ used to reside and mysteriously disappeared from.

You will want to use a "desktop browser" for this.

If you use a mobile browser, make sure to request the desktop site. Not all mobile browsers are capable of this.

Highly recommend a "real" laptop/computer

Thanks. I am using my laptop browser as my primary source, but do not see the reservation button that others are talking about so I thought I would check using my phone's browser. I'll just stick to the laptop from now on.

Thanks. I am using my laptop browser as my primary source, but do not see the reservation button that others are talking about so I thought I would check using my phone's browser. I'll just stick to the laptop from now on.

I don't see it in my plans either (on my phone in safari or on my laptop). Wondering if they are applying the link to accounts in batches or perhaps by reservation dates. Mine is in August.

Yup, my PERSONAL thoughts..

They are going to code each Theme park as a "Attraction" using the FP+ system and give the "window of use" the Park hours and cap that at whatever number of people they want to allow in the park each day.

This way they dont have to re-invent the wheel. Just re-use bits of the FP+ system and hide it.

Ex: Magic Kindom Attraction - Park hours 7 am- 7pm (or whatever) cap after 20k FP+ reservations

This makes a lot of sense! The groundwork already exists and the system can handle (as best as it can) all the volume and traffic. It will also look familiar for all of us that have used FP+. If it isn't like this, Disney should hire you to consult

If the CMs started testing at midnight. I bet it will go live before the rumored time. Unless they put everyone's FP window to start at 7am.....to sleep or not to sleep

I do work in IT


And you are correct the FP+ system has its issues but I think it would be well suited to this "purpose"
