The "I WANT TO ARGUE!" thread - JOKE THREAD!

Oh yeah! Stick with that story, Cannot!
That you indicated that Olives make a good dinner out of the jar and that you even hesitated for a moment in understanding a gas grill is an outdoor stove indicates that it is my story we should be going with.

Oh wait. that's yet another of my statements that cannot be argued with legitimately. I keep doing that....

Since it was suggested of the foods with skills thread.

First I declare yummy Skittles, Now & Laters, Starbursts and all and second, I say they are colors not flavors since I ask for a purple or a red or a pink. If you ask for a red Now & Later you do not taste it and think, yum cherry - you think, yum red.

Remember in the episode of ”Friends” where Chandler couldn’t be sarcastic or he’d lose a bet & finally he just had enough & let go w/ everything he’d been holding in - “Leather pants, Ross?”? Well, here goes...

Telling seniors they shouldn’t be upset about missing their proms & graduations because years ago many seniors had to go to Vietnam during their senior years is NOT helpful.

Social Distancing does NOT mean having a play date w/ your neighbors in your front yard.

Acting like you’ve got it all together because you bake your own bread & don’t have to rely on the grocery store doesn’t make anyone who can’t bake bread or who doesn’t have any yeast feel better about her own situation.

When I asked y’all if there was anything you’d like at the store, you could have said bagels & cream cheese. You’didn’t. You said popsicles & Goldfish crackers. So, the bagels & cream cheese are mine, & I shouldn’t have to share just because you‘re my children. Go eat your crackers.

It is “aisle” NOT “isle” - as in “The aisles of the store are empty.” And, anyway, it should be shelves - “I’m walking down the aisle, & the shelves are empty.” An “isle” is a small island which is where I’d like to be right now.

Carol killed her husband & fed him to the tigers.

(EDITED TO ADD: I totally shared my bagels & cream cheese w/ my children, but I’m still feeling salty.)
Remember when those bakers couldn't get any yeast at the stores. Well what then Karen?!

Let's get this thread back on track, shall we? :chat: :thanks:

The best pregnancy (or anytime) sandwich in the world is peanut butter and dill pickles.
Or maybe
Peanut butter, lettuce, tomato and Miracle Whip on Wonder bread.

Mmmmmm, I vote nope, according to Stephanie Plum the way to go is PB & Olives and I love Janet Evanovich soooo

NBA

The first basketball games I ever saw as a boy here in England involved the Harlem Globetrotters.
Having enjoyed their antics at the cinema and, later, on television it was an enormous disappointment when I finally saw a professional NBA game some years later.
My view of basketball as a boring sport rather than as an amusing spectacle was set in place a long time ago and has never changed even whilst I was working in Chicago.
You may think differently!

Not yummy, YUCKY! All of them except maybe once a year at Halloween I’ll eat a pink starburst. The rest, nasty!! 😉

In N Out SUCKS!!!!

I'm with you there.

I notice you kind of FLED from the whole OLIVES question... :rotfl2:

What olive question? I saw no questions, only poor taste...

Steak and Shake is gross. The only thing worth having are the shakes. I can't for the life of me understand why so many people love their burgers. Ick.

They can be pretty meh, but I do like the patty melts, and the shakes. the service is atrocious...bad enough that before the pandemic, the local one closed permanently.
