Price increase -- It's Here! (2/11/20)

Well I guess the silver lining is... I'll look forward to my DIS stock going up when they report "increased revenue, decreased attendance in the parks division."

That MP price is steep... I once paid $15 x 2 just to ride one ride the morning we left in order to catch a flight (actually, long story).... I probably wouldn't make that same purchase at $20.

Wow... the maxpass increase is pretty steep. I had hoped it might only go up $1-2... but $20 is a lot per day just for maxpass.
I wonder if less people will buy it now at the new price and that that leads to less canceled FPs which is(/was) a great selling point for maxpass in my opinion... that would be even worse than the price increase itself...
I‘ll definitely checking the situation about cancel FPs during the summer months here on the board...

I am running at circles at home for weeks now because I still have no idea if I am able to go to DL this thanksgiving... this uncertainty is killing me... if I‘d only knew one way or the other...and now the price increase... grrr...
Maybe more regular fast passes available later into the day.

Before the increase a 5 Day Hopper with MP was $415, not sure what it is now.
I just skimmed through some upcoming conventions that are offering tickets. $340 for 3 day park hopper with maxpass. The thing is, I don't know if this is taking into consideration the price hike that just took place. I can still buy the same tickets through UT for $375. If the rates stay the same I could potentially save $140 by holding off and buying in April. This is IF they convention rates haven't gone up. Do you guys think they have already been adjusted and I should hold off, or do you think the convention tickets will likely increase by more than $35/ticket by April?

Whew to the annual pass Maxpass add on only increasing by $25. I was worried about that one!

Overall, I am fine with this price increase. $50 + $25 for Maxpass on our APs is doable.

Although, it's crazy when you add it up and realize 4 Signature APs is going to be $5300 when we renew. Yikes! About $100/week throughout the year. That's about one meal out for us, so with that perspective, and considering we visit almost weekly, it's still a fair price.

For vacation packages max pass is still showing $15... but I did the math still cheaper to not book a package... even with paying the updated ticket costs. At least for our hotel.

Ok went ahead and bought our tickets. I was hoping to wait until closer to our trip, but a price increase can be significant when you add it up for a family our size. Thanks for the heads up!
I just purchased my discounted tickets for DL as well for my trip in April.

I would think if a certain convention has already posted that as the price then they'd have to honor it. Now if you are just seeing that for conventions in general it's the price then I think that could change.

Well poop. We have our five day tickets with MP already, but were planning to upgrade to the FlexPass with MP next month. Sigh.

So Signature AP went up $50? And MP add on up $25. Glad I pre bought vouchers online as a Christmas gift.

Maybe if you do it on Day one the MP would also go toward your $125 MP for AP?

That is my understanding. IF the ticket includes Maxpass it goes towards the purchase of your flex pass & Maxpass upgrade. If you purchase Maxpass daily you may not get that price used towards your AP.

Glad I bought my tickets through LMTC in advance of our trip next week! Even with the MaxPass increase we will still pay less than what UT is currently charging for hoppers with MaxPass already added. We will probably only add MaxPass 4 out of 5 days so that’s even more savings.

Has anyone had luck with Get Away Today for the old ticket prices? If I use them, can I add it to the app directly? Thanks.

The total price of the ticket w/MP goes towards the Flex.

I did an upgrade of a UT ticket w/MP ($315) to Flex on Saturday and the retail price of $345 was applied to my new Flex and I was given the option to add MP for $100.
