Apologies if this has been asked and answered. Once my party joins a boarding group, do they have to all return to ride at the same time? Thanks!

No, each person who has a boarding group assigned can tap in on their own, as long as it's within the return window.

Source: DH and I entered separately from our DSs during our trip last month.

I practiced on the plane during boarding. App already open, tapping Find Out More and backing out three times did not give me a red button. Closed the app, tried again and got a normal group on the first try. Best of luck to all today!

Tried from home again this morning. Had app loaded but not open. Button would not activate for me until about 30
seconds in and only after I closed the app completely and re-opened it. I opened the app 5 seconds before 6, toggled back and forth between find out more and join boarding groups. I'm thinking I didn't give it time to actual activate. Do we need to give it a few seconds to light up or should it be red the second we get to the join page, or did I open the app too soon, better to wait until the clock strikes 7? I would've still been able to join a group, but my number would've been really high I think. Our schedule needs an early morning ride!

I have been practicing every morning this week, going back and forth until it gives me the pop up message warning that I'm joining a backup group at exactly 1 minute after. However, today it did something weird for me. It said on the main screen estimated wait of backup group like it normally does when it switches over at 1 minute, but didn't actually give me the pop up warning as I was joining until 5 minutes after. I'm sure it was just a glitch (would have been a lucky one if today were my real day haha)!

BG5! Launched at 6:59:56. Guy next to me was refreshing and got 4, Women on other side got 55 seconds later.

It’s definitely a glitch. Mine did that as well yesterday when everyone else has said they were gone in 1 minute. This morning I wanted to test out to see if it was a glitch, so I kept closing the app out and opening up and got the pop up today 1 minute after. I’m just practicing still for Tuesday so I can't for sure say what it would have given me even though I didn’t get the pop up for 5 minutes after initial BG closed yesterday.

This was a new page that popped up for me today after I clicked "find out more." Have others seen it before today? I notice it told me where backup groups start even though they are still being distributed.

Got BG 8. 1 hr return windows called at same time as Oga’s! (I called that!) Just grabbing coffee at Oga’s, so should still make the return window. Excited! All the tips here work.

If Im staying off site and bought tickets through the app, do I need to do anything before lining up at the park entrance? Do I need to visit guest relations to get a physical park ticket or anything?

Assuming you have an e-mail receipt with a bar code or a print out of that e-mail, CMs can scan / issue you a hard admission card right there at the tapstyles.

It would generally be safer / less stressful to go ahead and visit Guest Relations or a ticket booth in advance if you have the opportunity, just to avoid any unforeseen issues. Your morning can detour quickly if for some reason they aren't able to scan your bar code at the tapstyle.

Or (assuming you don't have an old Magic Band) you could by a Magic Band in advance and link it to your MDE profile, if inclined.
