Ugh!! I want the passholder one, but that won’t be available online! We are going to a party, but I can’t buy a Dooney bag with my DH standing right there- plus the passholder shirt, pin, and spirit jersey that I want to also buy!!! That would go over like a lead balloon. So my choices are no passholder one or eBay prices. Or just try for the Harvey’s and solve it that way.

Aw man, no special stuff at Columbia Harbor House. Maybe that's a good thing, will keep the crowds down. I hear that Cosmic Ray's is often a nightmare during the parties, but at least they have good exclusive food this year.


Am I wrong in thinking that Sunshine Tree Terrace wasn't open for the party last year? That Holiday Orange Bird... thing is certainly interesting.

Christmas Cookie Milkshake (Available Each Day at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies) – Cookie butter milkshake topped with whipped cream and a Mickey marshmallow straw

Anyone try this yet? I’m gonna need to be rolled out of magic kingdom. I honestly don’t think Disney’s food is all that good to be honest but the pumpkin milkshake from Auntie Gravity’s was phenomenal.

All I know is - there isn't any part of the description of what's included in this year's milkshake - that i do not love.

My daughter and I will be attending the MVMCP (first time!!) on 12/12, and going to Universal on 12/13 for the Orlando Informer Meetup(first time!!). Having a hard time deciding where to stay. We have a reservation at HRH in Universal and thought we would rent a car but now I am considering booking at Disney and using the Magical Express and maybe Uber/Lyft for 12/13 to Universal. Any suggestions or experiences as to which would be best? We are flying in during the evening on 12/11 and back home around 3pm on 12/14 with only the 2 days at the parks. Planning on Disney Springs and relaxing the rest of the time!

We did this last year (Orlando Informer event) from Disney - took Uber over and back, worked great. Doing it again this year, will Uber from Disney resort to Hard Rock and walk over- read an article that Uber is tacking on on a $4 fee for pick up (not drop off) to the parks (in the garage), but not the resorts. The walk from Hard Rock is short and lovely, so we'll just drop off and get picked up there.

Mickey Elf Souvenir Popcorn Bucket – $18

If you feel like you’ve seen this bucket before, you’re partially right! We saw a green version of the Mickey Elf Souvenir in Disney World in 2015 and Disneyland in 2014.
Found in Animal Kingdom at The Feeding Ground but we wouldn’t be surprised to see him elsewhere around the parks soon.

Where are you finding all these fabulous pictures?! Are there more pics of the other choices of xmas buckets? I need this one. Hope they don't run out before mid Dec.!!

They play xmas music? I've only heard dance music, but then we always go after about 9pm, so maybe they play it earlier in the evening?

Any tips on good spots to catch these new firework shows that are projection heavy? It’s just me so I’m hoping being solo will be an advantage. Sadly I was too late to book the dessert party and I’m mildly terrified of first party night crowds tomorrow.

I'm attending the very last MVMCP so unlikely that much of the party-exclusive merchandise will still be available. BUT, in an effort to increase any chances, I have a couple questions, if anyone knows:

1. does party-exclusive merchandise stay off the shelves and not available to purchase until the party officially starts at 7pm? I'm guessing this is the case but wanted to check in case they would sell earlier if you ask & show party wristband. I can get in at 2pm as DVC member (what time are wristbands available within the park? Sorry this is probably discussed somewhere but I missed it). If I have my wristband, would they sell me party-merch earlier in the day? Or maybe between 6-7 when day-guests are supposed to be leaving? Or do they hold to the 7pm party start time?
2. would the CMs at the shops selling the party-exclusive merchandise be able to tell guests what items (if any) remain in stock? Assuming I can't purchase until 7, if I stopped by earlier in the day to see whether it was worth coming back right at 7, would they tell me what was still available?
3. for the items that are party-exclusive and only for Passholders -- are those for sale at the same locations (Emporium, Star Traders and Big Top Souvenirs; pins at Frontier Trading Post) or others?

I don't know if they are going to run MVMCP Exclusive merchandise the same way they did during MNSSHP, here's the how it worked:

• ALL Guests with proof of party tickets were allowed to buy Exclusive merchandise starting at 2pm. It is not clear if they could purchase in advance of their party date.
• If you are already in the park, Party Wristband Distribution will start at 4pm. No exceptions.
• Exclusive Popcorn buckets were sold at 7pm. Some did report 6:45.
• DVC members should have their own entry line and will be given a party wristband. Yes, 2pm entry has been confirmed.
• During the last few parties and as merchandise dwindled down, it was reported the merchandise was moved to a few areas. You'll have to wait to see what others post with their experience. Hopefully some will take the time to post what is sold out. Surprisingly there were very few posts of items selling out despite the heavy crowds and sold out parties.
• I bought the Passholder Haunted Mansion satchel at Uptown Jewelers on Main Street.

Ugh! Rain, rain go away...
If it rains things do get delayed and/or shortened. Shows will be shortened if the stage is too wet. It's really about thunder and lightning; Outdoor characters will not meet nor will they have an alternative place to meet and Outdoor rides might not run so have a Plan B!

Again all the above is based on data collected during 2019 MNSSHP so if I'm wrong PLEASE feel free to chime in and school me!
