Real derp moment- Apparently I set up a security word for Citi when I applied. I couldn’t set up my online account because I couldn’t remember this word so I had to call in and awkwardly explain I don’t remember which pet I chose to be my favorite. I was sure I must have combined my dogs names or chosen our older dog (since he was around first) but apparently not haha Oh well time to plastiq the mortgage!

I have this problem with my water company. Can't remember which pet I used, way back when - I've had many pets and haven't taken the time to call in and get it sorted out.

Check your Amex Offers!

Get 20% back on your cell phone bill, up to $50. Expires 12/31/19.
Get 20% back as a statement credit by using your enrolled Business Card to pay your cell phone bill online directly with a US-based wireless provider by 12/31/19. Limit of $50 in total statement credits.

Seems targeted to Amex business cards. I got it on my Biz Plat, and DW got it on her Bonvoy Biz.

Maximize by making $250 in payment(s).

Boo, I haven't gotten a good offer like this in awhile. I need more Amex cards. I got spend $150 save $30 on Snapchat. I didn't even know you could spend money on snapchat. What in the world is someone going to spend $150 on? I don't want to know I guess.

Found the WHBM offer on my daughters card when it was mentioned here and asked her to order me a gift card. After forgetting it and then hearing it mentioned on here again, I went online and ordered it myself (with her AU card) and the $25 credit posted this morning.

I ordered an egift card as I'm too cheap to pay $5.95 to have them ship a plastic card. It is marked online on my account as Cashstar, same as last time.

And, I didn't get the cell phone offer.

For anyone who knows about cockroaches:

We pay for a pest control company and they focus on the outside of our house with spraying and a centricon system. We’ve seen two small cockroaches in our master bath and Dh found a cockroach in our pantry today. I’m assuming I should call them about this but I’m wondering if it’s normal to get a couple here and there in the south or if I should be more worried. I see them in our garage too
Uugghhh, I feel for you. It isn’t abnormal but I’d call and have them spray as much as possible.
Also, sprinkle diatomaceous earth around. It is safe for pets.
I’d also get rid of all cardboard. Put everything you have stored in boxes into plastic storage tubs instead. The bugs like the glue on cardboard. Move all pantry items to resealable containers as well. You can place traps around the house too, like under bathroom cabinets and stuff. That might even be something your pest guy will do.i e read there are plug in things that emit some sort of noise but no clue if they work. I saw them mentioned on the dcp parent site.
When I go to wdw I plug all the drains when not in use.

Not for me either.
Then there is the jewelry offer - nothing that won't turn my finger, neck, arm black from the metals used - I need gold - real gold. Can live with fake stones but not with cheap metal.

If I see even one Arrow gets a call from me -- I can't stand them. I have a friend who says she's never seen any in 8 years in her house, normal for us is twice per year (I had a small one last week in the family room).

They can come and spray the inside of your home and set some bait inside as well (they shouldn't charge any extra for this). I always get a spiel from them "the rains have been bad (duh - it's summer in Florida), they don't live inside -- just come inside for food and water, blah blah blah -- to which I just kindly tell them I don't want to see any, ever, in our house.

I am having a huge problem with ants currently. I've had Arrow treat inside 3 times since we've been back here and I saw two on our cooktop on the weekend and one in a cookbook last week :headache: o_O.
My neighbors mentioned they were having ants a couple weeks ago. They have the same pest people as us. We haven’t had any ants thank goodness.

Thanks! I haven't used mine yet. So it looks like I will be ordering gift cards since I can use them at the Outlet also :)

I just mentioned to Dh after it happened that we should put things in containers. I’m not sure what all needs to be put in containers though. You mentioned things in boxes. What about like chip bags? We don’t buy a lot of chips but sometimes have tortilla chips or bagged popcorn and we have bagged walnuts/almonds

Exactly! The outlets in Rehoboth have more stock then the regular store in Alexandria that I've gone to. Plus you have to put money in the meter to park on King Street...ugh.

My d'oh moment/PSA--the BBP has an FTF which I forgot when I ordered tickets to the Churchill War Rooms for Oct 4th (yes, I'm excited). Fortunately the bps is not too strong so it was only $1.87 additional. Still, quite a rookie mistake-I have 2 cards' numbers memorized and the other one doesn't have the FTF (DL plat). Grrr...

I did this last week. I took our walmart cosco scenera to target and stacked the 20% coupon with target redcard 5%, store pickup 5%, and the sale price...to get DD3 a chicco myfit for $110 (usually $199).
Then I ordered her travel booster from walmart...Disney Baby finale 2-in-1 booster in minnie print, marked down for the baby sale from $55 to $40.
I'm super happy with this deal overall. 2 new boosters (main and travel) that both convert to using the car seatbelt when the time comes so I don't have to buy anymore in the future....all for $150 ($255 value) and the seat I traded in has been in use for 3 years and only cost $40 to begin with.

I know there was discussion about travel carseats recently and someone didn't want the scenera because of the weight limit. Check out the disney baby booster...it would last longer but if your kiddo is 30lb it would be fine for now too! Of course DD3 likes the $40 minnie mouse seat better than the fancy chicco.

That was me. :) You bought the travel booster I want! But, my DD3 is really skinny and only recently made it to 26 lbs, with shoes on. I got the $30 GC at Walmart for my car seat. We aren't planning to fly again until May (she'll be 4 by then), so I'm holding off on buying the seat for now. Maybe she will magically gain 4 lbs by then? Otherwise I'll be getting the Scenera - it's just that the height limit is so low, she'll outgrow the height in a year or two. I'd much rather get a front facing seat that converts to a booster like the Finale.

We also caught the special "Fan Event" screening last night, and each of us got a cute little snow globe. Loved seeing it with the fans, who clapped and laughed at all the cutting little quips, especially from old lady Grantham. My wife loved it, and I'll say what I've always said about Julian Fellowes – the man is a master of fan service, the movie was thoroughly satisfying and leaves all the characters we care about in a happy place. The series didn't need a movie, but the movie is still fantastic. The movie doesn't need a sequel, but I really wouldn't mind if Julian Fellowes has another story to tell about Downton. I remarked to my wife afterward how much I appreciated Downtown Abbey, the series and the film, compared to the clusterf*ck of GoT Season 8.

I was on the fence about whether I was going to rematch the series and go see the movie in the theater or wait until it comes out on DVD, but I heard a rebroadcast of an NPR interview with Julian Fellowes last week and spent the weekend rematching the first season. Hopefully the movie will be in theaters for another few weeks; I probably won't get to season 2 until the weekend.

When I get home from the grocery store, I immediately open everything that is in cardboard and put it in plastic containers....even boxes of granola bars, cereal, almonds, etc. Chip bags that are unopened are fine, but once opened, dump it all in an airtight container. Pretty much nothing stays in its original container.
I got all my storage stuff from walmart (better homes and gardens line) and ikea. Lucky for you, there is an ikea in orlando, so maybe you could go Saturday with DH and stock up.
I love organizing, so I did all this for fun, but in your case, it will help with the bugs not being attracted or having anywhere to hide.

I used to have card numbers memorized but no more.

Also, we saw the Churchill war rooms a few years ago. Very interesting but not at all crowded (and we were there in August). I'm curious why you're ordering tickets in advance?

Awwww, she is tiny!!
