My mom and stepdad want a CSR but both are retired and not drawing SS yet. Can you be approved with no income?

@mmmears You arenā€™t alone in not buying your kiddo a car. Dh and I both had to buy our first cars. Our kids will as well. We have a shared kid car (that is a civic) and the driving kids can share it but itā€™s not theirs. Both my teens have worked and saved and have enough in savings to buy their own car when they want.

I'm so sad right now. I dont feel like they will change it in time for us to stay šŸ˜
Iā€™m so sorry. I feel so bad for everyone who changed flights because MCO jumped the gun and had everyone in a tizzy. We have friends who just got there Thursday and weā€™re supposed to fly home Tuesday but moved to today (theyā€™re probably on your flight!).

So they have to have some type of ā€œincomeā€ whether it is from investments, pension, etcor something to pay their bills. It looks like there is an option for Other on Source of Income that I would probably choose.

Thank you! Iā€™ll pass this along. My stepdad just retired so this is new. Iā€™m sure they will be drawing from SS in the next few months but they need the card soon.

You all are very nice. We have avoided purchasing a car for our DD, and at this point she is out of college, so it seems like we never will. School cost enough. ;)

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. We saw it in SF the first time it was here (thanks to the AMEX concierge) and I loved it. I don't go to shows very often, either, but I do like US history & gov't and had read many of his papers back in college. I have the audiobook, too, and it's really l o n g.
Dd is getting a car because she swims every weekday morning at 4:45, gets home at 7, and has to catch a 7:30 bus. Then she gets home from school at 5:15. So by being able to drive herself to school she can leave around 8:15 and be home around 4:15. Iā€™m gone from 7am-6pm so I canā€™t help much. Otherwise I might not care as much.

And she did work almost 400 hours this summer but sheā€™s keeping that money for spending to go out with friends and buy herself clothes.

Doing a bit of searching.

There's a PLE deal for those dates for $117/night that Hotel Canary thinks is Coronado, Caribbean Beach or Cabins at Fort Wilderness:
PLE Deal
I saw that one, thank you! I think it is CSR. Thinking about that or spending a bit extra to get the LM room on AP rate.
Also, I found AofA again later in the month on PLE.

Is SW customer service available 24/7?
I would think so, but not sure. I have to call to change mine since I have DS9 as an unaccompanied minor attached to me, but diff ressie. Dd3 is my companion but I could cancel and readd if it were just her.

Thank you! Iā€™ll pass this along. My stepdad just retired so this is new. Iā€™m sure they will be drawing from SS in the next few months but they need the card soon.
Seeing as Chase asks for Annual Income I see no reason he can't tally up what he made at work this year and what they'll get from SS and/or retirement accounts for the last couple months of the year to fill that Annual Income number in.

Wells Fargo Go Far Rewards- help... So, I see there are "Amex-only" offers available here, including one that I already used on my SSN on Delta Amex (Pandora). Can I use it again? It let me add it. None of the really good Amex offers (like Best Buy) are showing but I'll take another month of free pandora!

The good news is I switched our 8am flight with 3 hour layover in Houston to a direct flight at 10am.

The bad news is there were only two spots, so I booked myself on points, cancelled my companion ticket, and moved DH. So now I need my points back for my ticket, I feel like a call or maybe tweet should accomplish that...

@mom2elal - I want to thank you again for the tip on those discounted Hamilton tickets!

We saw last night's show, and it was brilliant! My wife loved the show and thought it was so clever and funny. I thought the lyrics and dialogue were sharp and cutting, timely in that many of the political conflicts from the founding of our country are still with us today, people continue to be flawed creatures with jealousies, agendas, pride and weaknesses, the music sticks with you even as the performers sing and rap so fast you try to grasp at every other word, and the performances were full of passion and energy. Loved loved LOVED King George III! Also the duo of Jefferson and Madison! Man, I hated the Jefferson character, but Simon Longnight played him like the flamboyant Ruby Rhod from The Fifth Element, and his beanpole figure next to Brandon Louis Armstrong's much rounder Madison made for a hilarious pair whenever they shared the stage!

It's been years since my wife and I caught a Broadway show. Last night reminded us how much we love and missed live musical theater. There's an energy to a live performance, with all the costuming, music, lighting and physical moving sets, and of course the actors, that can't be replicated on screen. This was my daughter's first show! My girl was wide-eyed and at the edge of her booster seat for the whole first half of the show, but the poor thing couldn't quite make it through the second half. Probably a good thing, since I won't have to explain the whole Reynolds affair, or that the star of the show
DIES
.

THANKS AGAIN!

Back in June, @mom2elal shared a sale on Hamilton SF tickets for weekday shows starting at $85.

I was able to pick up left two Orchestra Row G tix for $85 (normally $175, and just left of the $250 seats) and another cheap seat for $75, plus a $10 order fee. I sat in the cheap seat, and the view really wasn't bad.

These posts reminded me that I forgot to report that I was able to purchase Broadway tix via the Chase UR portal this summer. I would never use Chase UR points to purchase shows that can likely be found at a discount, but it is a decent option for shows that are unlikely to be discounted, like Hamilton, Dear Evan Hansen, Hadestown, Wicked, and Disney shows. It's 1.5 cents per point, and you avoid extra seller fees. You choose the section you want, but not your individual seats. In my case, we received the best available seats in the section specified.

So I tried regular chat to see what would happen because I knew it wasn't right. Well Hyde went through my previous chat and everything and told me I got incorrect info earlier and that he could helo me. He booked my fps but I can onky change them by calling in which I thought was odd but confirmed by the info on it. They look weird and have wording I've never seen before. Anyone know what kind these really are?

The wording makes me wonder if it'll let me make fps on monday, not that I'm trying to game the system from this, I just wanted to be able to book what I should have been allowed to book.

I did UPS Store yesterday and today and it was so easy! Love it! No packaging. Just show the QR code and I was out of there. Maybe give that a try next time.

that cost money though no? I guess in LA, i had to take it to an amazon store to get free return.
