Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

I'm just trying to plan how I will get my BF to DHS by 6am for the new extra extra magic hours in September... do standard rooms at Beach Club have disposable cups with lids? I'm thinking of luring him out of bed with the smell of fresh coffee and then drinking it on the walk to DHS. If not I will need to pack a lot of them...

Asked on the refillable mug thread but haven’t received a response, does anyone know if the YC marketplace offers almond milk (or any non dairy) options at the coffee bar?

Anyone who’s been recently, can you tell me if they still have the specialty coffee bar set up in the BC solarium? Thank you! 32 days to go!!!

Hopefully this is ok to ask here. We are staying at BC, and on Monday of our trip we have a resort day planned, while Tuesday we are planning on going to epcot. Which of those days would you do bon voyage breakfast at trattoria al forno? My thought was to do it on the resort day so we dont walk all the way to the boardwalk then to epcot but maybe I am overthinking. Any thoughts? What would you guys do?

I can't speak specifically for the Beach Club but the Beach Club Villas were stocked with disposable cups and lids during our last stay [along with the standard coffee cups]. If you don't have them in your room I would think a quick call to housekeeping would get you stocked with some!

I would do it on resort day. The walk from BC to BW is 5 - 10 minutes [and closer to the 5 minute end]. BW to Epcot the same timeframe. So, you're not really going out of your way either way that you decide to go.

We consider YC our "home" resort. The last time we were there, they didn't have the cabanas at SAB. Do the cabanas take away from the area, meaning does it seem more crowded because of them? I'm not sure how many there even are.

I'll be there this weekend, but from the photos I've seen they're sort of on the far side of the sandy/shallow area where you can make sand castles and stuff. I know I've never tried to sit over there but I can't remember what used to be there either.

I would personally do it on my resort day, but it has nothing to do with the walk. I would call the walk there a non issue, it’s not far at all. I would just prefer to have a more leisurely breakfast prior to a calmer relaxing resort day than to have to get up and go to breakfast prior to a park day. In the park I would also rather get something at Epcot. If you aren’t planning on an early park day going prior to Epcot would work also, but I would rather have lunch at Epcot and do the breakfast on the resort day.

Is there a spot open this early at Yacht Club? First time there and not at BC, realized that early coffee will be a must if the EEMH's continue!
The market at ale and compass (YC) and beach club marketplace both open at 6:00 AM. Not sure if any adjustments will be made when the extra, extra magic hours begin.

I like doing character meals on my resort days as I feel less stressed then if I’m stuck in a line as my ADR time creeps up. You would probably be fine either way. I have never stayed at an Epcot resort but we checked them out on our last trip and everything felt like a pretty quick walk.

Does anyone know if my TA made a room request/note with Disney for my reservation, and I do online check-in, will that wipe out the note (since online check-in asks about certain room preference questions too)? I know nothing is guaranteed anyway but i dont want to negate what she already added for me. thanks.

Thank you. I believe there were just tables and chairs.
