New Zootopia Films Coming

The train can’t support the number of people that would be going to a major land. Construction in that area would likely lead to the removal of the train and if Rafiki was kept open, they would probably build a pathway to it then. Or an expansion of Rafiki would have to be minimal.
In it's present configuration, no it can't support a new land. That doesn't mean that it can't be reconfigured.

Yes it could be reconfigured, but I just don’t see them intentionally bottlenecking access to a new major land with a train. Rafiki and Tom Sawyer have small enough demand to where it works. Anything with a major attraction would need walking access.

Disney may need to create another land like Zootopia as a response to themselves (Galaxy Edge). Hollywood is going to be unbearable for the next 2 years. It's going to feel like a Norwegian Death Metal concert. And I find whenever there's a high level of people there's bound to be a fairshare of asshats.

I'll take Zootopia, but I do think there are other franchises and movies that deserve some shine. It made most of its money in China, not America.

Any word on what the attractions will be in Shanghai? I haven't seen diddily yet, but I'll keep looking.

One attraction at opening. No major rumors on what exactly it is.

Cool thanks, I can't wait to see.

They just have to make sure to have plenty of bushes... I mean restrooms nearby. Afterall it's Zootopia not Pooptopia. :)

2 future sequels = a new land

Disney can sell a lot of overpriced merchandise in Zootopia as well. Certainly much more than Rafiki's planet watch could. The only thing I'd get from there is fleas and germs.

We've talked about Hollywood needing to pull people away from "Star Wars". I think the same can be said about the other parks as well. That's why they are building "Tron" in Magic and "Guardians" and "Rat" in Epcot. There needs to be an E-Ticket in each direction. This way it will make it so not everyone will go to just one ride like "The 7 Dwarves" and "Pandora".

Crowds need to be given tough choices between where to go. If it was just between say for an example a Figment level attraction and a Guardians level one the choice would be easy as pie. But if you have a laundry list of attractions that are near the same level it will make the hordes go in different directions. This is why Animal Kingdom needs 1 more big one in the middle. This way you'd have to choose between upper left (Kilimanjaro), bottom left (Pandora), middle (Zootopia), upper right (Everest), bottom right (Dinosaur).

I'd be happy with just getting 1 Zootopia dark ride. Plus I'm not fancy, just give me new stuff that's like the old stuff. I don't need to be picked up and shook around.

That sounds good to me, I love classic Disney. I hope they don't lose sight with it with the new technology that has come available.

They should seriously think about a "Flash Slothmore Driving School" attraction. It could be a very long, slow ride.

I think Animal Kingdom will want to finally use the rumored Japanese Bullet Train idea from 74. It is a perfect way to greet people and introduce them to Zootopia.

It plays a vital part in the movie "Zootopia". Judy Hopps leaves Bunnyburrow and takes the train to get to the big city.
Yes and that’s fine but AK has a huge amount of space where a train is not needed to get there. I can’t imagine them not using that space first. They don’t need a train to make Zootopia a good land if it comes. I don’t believe Shanghai is getting a train and the IP is more popular in China than it is here.
