Disney Gift Card Deals

I'm new to this idea of stock piling discounted Disney GCs - Thank you all so much for being such great teachers! I have done one with the Chase 30% staples offer and now I'm looking for more.

I noticed that our local grocery (Market Basket) has Happy Lady GCs for 10% off this week. BB&B is an option for use.

Do you just take the HL card to BB&B and save the 10%. Or is there another way to stack something at BB&B to get more?

Because HL are run like credit cards, you can link the "CC" number on the HL card to your Ebates when you activate the in-store cash back. BBB is usually 2%-4%, though at one point before Christmas I got 6% when churning at BBB. It's a nice bonus.

I don't know how much of the thread you have read, but BBB can vary from store to store when it comes to churning GCs. The system allows it, but some cashiers and managers do not. People have posted about being shut down hard, and even being accused of money laundering when trying to buy Disney GCs this way. So far, it's worked for me at two different BBB stores with no problems, but I suggest you start with one or two HL cards to see how it goes at your local store.

People also use rewards credit cards when they buy the HL cards in the first place, which can also add a few percentage points to the savings.

I had no trouble purchasing a Disney gift card with a BBB gift card. I was just hoping to use one I had received for my birthday a couple years ago.

I apologize if this is explained somewhere else in the thread, I am going back and reading through some older posts, but thought I would ask in the meantime...

We have about 60k Chase Ultimate Rewards points that we were originally going to use on airfare for our June trip this year. However, airfare is really high this year, compared to last, so now we are probably just going to drive. We rented DVC points for the trip, so that is paid for. I am wondering if we can somehow turn those rewards points into Disney GCs that we could then use towards our dining on the trip. If we can, what is the best way to go about that?

Again, I am sure this is explained in the thread somewhere, I'll keep looking, but I appreciate any advice!

Thanks!

I believe Market Basket also has Happy Guy cards on sale. Those have worked for me at Home Depot. I don't know if that will beat the BBB/ebates deal, but there is a RMN $2 back on $100 for Home Depot.

New to RMN, I know sometimes it says no giftcards purchases count but tsometimes they still do. I recieved a $10 off $50 from Om/of scan in store. Will it work with giftcards?

Have you used your chase portal yet? All available cards are listed in there. Not your best use if those points but if it works for you that is all that matters.

But before you spend those 60k on giftcards check out the travel portal an see if there is another trip you want to take? Its amazing what hotels you can get. We booked $250 Hilton for 15k points.

Whatever you decide enjoy your Disney trip!

You could buy tp for that? What brand was it? Seems like I bought Huggies wipes for it.
I bought Scott. And 2 cases of buggies diapers and 2 cases of wipes and a pack of swim diapers.
And a lot of Scott extra soft. Apparently I seriously overestimated my family’s tp usage.

You can cash out Chase URs straight to your bank account at 1 cent per point.

You can cash out the UR points at 1 cent per point, so 60k UR = $600 cash. You could pick up discounted Disney GC's by following the deals and then reimburse yourself with the UR. I usually think that's better than cashing out directly to GC's as then you can earn more points from the purchase. And getting a deal stretches your UR further.

Thank you to everyone who helps out answering questions on this board!

I went to Sams this weekend with my new app Dosh and my linked card. I earned a $5 new member bonus, $20 on my Sam's membership renewal, $9.70 Dosh rewards on my gift card purchase, and $50 in GAP rewards (bonus offer on my GAP Visa if I spent $500 outside of their brands). I'm sure I could have earned more if I waited for a Dosh bonus weekend at Sams, but I was too antsy to wait and I needed to take advantage of the GAP offer!

Thanks so much!
