I love credit cards so much!

i think Arrival + is the best option. Get that and him an AA BIZ (can AA points be combined?). Venture is a good card too for park tix but the bonus is better on the arrival. Then I think I’d wait until in the clear with Chase and get him the Hyatt card.
Or Rose Gold??? Love that card. Aren’t you planning to cash out with Schwab?

It's too soon to go for another Chase. Considering an arrival+ for him. I really love the money we could put towards park tickets for later this year. But it will also eat up a */24 slot though he has one dropping off in just a couple of months.

Is there another card anyone would suggest for a better cash back bonus for travel?

I think the Arrival+ is a good solid choice. Yes, it will put him a 4/24 for a couple of months but that's still one slot that you have available if the Best Offer Since Sliced Bread from Chase happens to occur in that time frame. If it would put him over 5/24 that would be a different story. Give Barclaycard some love, that's my vote.:D

I do this too with GC deals! Cram it in, if I've used a GC to buy a GC cram it in and then have to check the balance again later... I'm glad it all worked out!

I thought I lost my license at TSA this past weekend. I'm always really good about putting it away quickly in the case on my phone, but for some reason I stuck it in random pocket in my bag :sad2:
another random pocket girl drive DH nuts!!

Yay my score shot up! I’m applying for the BOA cash rewards card today! I’m also getting a savings account with them to take advantage of the 10% rewards bonus and save extra cash for my Disney Asia trip.

I’m also considering the Chase Ink Business Cash Card. The $500 bonus, no fee, and 5x bonus on WiFi, cable, cell phone bill aka 5 of my family’s top 7 bills and office supply stores(they have great gift card malls) is such a good offer to pass up. Directv counts right for the bonus?

Any eBay sellers have the Chase Ink Business Cash Card? I have been an eBay seller for 4 years now selling items out of my closet and I am about to start an official store. I also sell my stuff on other sites.

My office supply stores have such amazing gift cards at stores I want to get my inventory from. Plus it seems that Staples and Office Depot/Max offer no fee Visa/Mastercard deals quite often. I figure I can add the Visa/mastercard to my Paypal and pay for shipping with it and get the 5x cashback or stack them purchasing discounted gift cards online.

What about pofq for $900 less?

Ooh, now it gets tougher! OK, fine. I give up for 900 bucks. LOL. POR is one of my favorite moderates too. I have never stayed at POFQ but I assume it is a similar experience. My only issue is that I have turned into a hotel princess and having a window with a balcony has become very important. I love sitting out on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning. At the very least not having windows that face the walkway with a constant stream of people.

But for almost 1000$ I think I would be sold. You could buy like 4 Dooney and Burkes with that!

If your wanting to use it for park tickets, I personally would go for the Arrival+. It's very quickly became one of my favorite cards when we're not meeting MSR. I also love that there's a 70,000 pt bonus right now as well as the fact that if you can buy the park tickets during MSR time frame, it counts towards it but can be erased. If it was going to be the 5th card.....wait for CIP, but since itll be 4 (3 by end of march), I'd say go for it!
I do need to use it for park tickets. Buying 6 park tickets is :crazy2: (just wait, you will be there soon lol!). I do love the Arrival+ as well!

Leaning towards the Arrival+ also. Idk if the AA points can be combined. I do need to find out since I boarded that 'train' :)

I'm so lost on my "strategy" after year 1, can anyone help?

Me: (4/24)
CSP 1/18 (planning on downgrading to Freedom on the 17th)
SPG Amex 2/18 (plan to close)
CIP Biz 6/18 (will keep for 1.25 redemption and business write off)
Capital One Venture 7/18 (will close)
CIU Biz 10/18 (will close)
Arrival+ 1/19

DH: (7/24)
CBNA 1/18
Chase IHG Traveler MC 2/18 (will keep)CSP (will downgrade to Freedom)
4/18 SPG Amex 4/18 (will close)
Capital One Venture 6/18 (will cancel)
Arrival+ 10/18
Macys 12/18 (didn't open, just found today, will dispute....nothing spent, $500 limit)

We have roughly $15k in expenses coming up on a rental rehab so I feel like we should do SOMETHING.

Upcoming trips through August 2019 are all paid for. No travel plans after except maybe an RC cruise in March 2020. I'd really like to bank points and do something tropical (Costa Rica, Mexico, etc) but family of 6 so $$$$.

Ideally, I'd like to keep my last Chase slot for Southwest CP possibly for 2020. Thinking of focusing on Arrival+ and 1-2 biz cards (Citi AA+ Platinum, Marriott Biz, Hyatt Biz?) + bank bonuses for me, and DH get Hilton AMEX Ascend + business cards?

Any input for next card for dh? We have 6k of spend in 4 weeks for some new windows. I'm done with his SW plus, almost done with SW biz, done with my Arrival+ and will knock out my new AA card with two mortgage payments. So, I need something for the 6k spend.

He is 3/24:
CSR 3/17
SPG 1/18
SW plus 11/18

Last 12 mos with Chase:
CIC 6/18
SW plus 11/18
SW biz 12/18

I wanted the arrival plus for park tickets too but was denied ( the horror) as I am 7/24. I am debating getting one for DH too. Who is 2/24. I upgraded to AP but he didn't and my DD will need a ticket this year also. Sorry, I'm sure this didn't help you at all, lol.

What about pofq for $900 less?
I've always wanted to stay at POFQ. I think I'd switch.

On another note, DH went to Staples today and got 6 $200 fee free visas with his CIC. They told him there was a $2000 limit for the week.

Do you guys have a legit business? I don't know why this scares me so much to do the whole EIN thing...I also need to make sure I have a card in 4 weeks (maybe even bit less).

I sell on eBay...but use my SS number on the schedule c.....since there could be a delay and you need the card I’d go for the Arrival + now.
I was also scared to get the EIN and apply but the thought of 100URs slowly changed my mind

We scratched the okw idea and I was thinking no on the cabins too. There aren’t any other bc/yc rooms unfortunately. We did find one more option which is pofq. We love pofq and it would be $900 less. It’s only $177/night. I think we might be switching to that idea but haven’t made any decisions yet. What do you think
I'd say for $900 do it. That is a whole extra quick trip another time!

For you...what about the last Chase business UR card the CIC it wouldn’t add to you 5/24 count 50kURs with $3k spend ...Also I wouldn’t close the CIU...it’s a no annual fee card

Then a few other business cards for you and DH for the rest of the $15k

Lol, I didn't even notice till now how out dated my kids ages are on my profile. They are now 12,10,8 and 5 so YES, we bought 6 tickets to WDW AND 6 tickets to Universal for our trip Nov 18! It was nearly a $10k trip over 10 days for FREE!!!! LOVE CC rewards!

For those with the SPG biz, what is your analysis of the value of putting regular spend on it vs other UR earning cards? I have no MSR at the present time and I am mostly trying to focus the category spend on the highest bonus and spread the rest around on every open card. There are bonus categories on the SPG biz but I don't know anything about SPG point value because I only have that one card and I have never used the SPG points. I forgot about using the SPG for a month here and there but now I am making sure I use it every month.

I just got mine in December...probably going to put very little spend on it after the MSR.....I feel we can get more use out of URs

Maybe a CIC for you? Why will you close your CIU?

Whoop! Didn't realize you had gotten your dh in the game!!

I think the Arrival+ also. It bought us 2 1/2 of our DLR tix last year and that was with only me having the card. With the 70k, which is really about $800+ of rewards after the spend, I could cover 4 tix if we both have the card. If dd is in dcp, that is only one tix OOP. SUCH a nice help since we may also be upgrading to AP's!
