Airmiles Shop the Block 2018 - BONUS MILES POSTING NOW

If anyone is trying to do a $100 Amazon AirMilesShops transaction and has been looking for an Instant Pot on sale - they are currently $64.99 for the 6 quart size.

I need someone to convince me if I should finally bite the bullet and get one!!!

I've been waiting and I'm going to buy one tomorrow at Zehrs because it's on sale for just slightly more but there's no tax tomorrow and I have more than enough PC points to use. Our girls have one and love it and I've just been waiting for it to go on sale to a point where I was comfortable buying it. I'm home all the time but seriously by the time it gets to be dinner time if I have forgotten to cook I don't want to stand in the kitchen forever.

I'm on the same boat. I've looked at it the past few years, but have never gone for it. I think I will this year. I have a few friends who love it.

I really need to sit down with my husband and plan out what we want to buy for Black Friday. I *think* there are a few other electronics that Staples sells that might take us over the $150, and then I won't have to mess with price matching the roomba. I'd just like to have it all planned out so I can get it done first thing tomorrow morning.

No those bonus miles won't post for a bit could be as long as two weeks but they will come. The most stores that offer bonuses for cashing in Miles you'll find that the miles will not post on your receipt and they take longer than the others to post your account, so long as you got the email verifying that you use them you should be good to go.
For the first time EVER, at my Rexall, the cashier looked over the receipt, told me what I had earned, and said that 40 AM will post later, no worries. I ended up with 141 AM + the 40 to come with a spend of $85 ($65 with using the AM points for $20). It was reassuring to see you write this, Jacqueline, and hear her say it. I despise that so often my Rexall doesn't post what I am expecting.eg I just noticed that the nail polish I was supposed to get at 2/$10, posted at regular price. grrrrr On the positive side: another buy for my BMO MC, and another STB partner done. That makes 4 completed and 13 BMO purchases. It's going to be tough to get 7 this time.

Just back from completing DH Rexall offer for StB. While I was there the cashier told me these two women came in last night (close to midnight) and proceeded to do 7+4 (redeem 190AM etc) transactions. Each was doing it for "members" of their family. I was gob smacked. I am able to do the ones I do (me, DH and DS) but I couldn't imagine doing that many. That is some serious outlay of cash and time. They also went to the Shell across the street.

I'm the first to admit I work the system but I don't take advantage of it. As for extended family and friends, I'm willing to advise them but I'm not shopping for them all as well. They have to do that themselves.

Did anyone else get the email for a bonus 25 miles for completing one eligible purchase at Shell? It says it can be combined with other bonus offers, so I'll stop by to get some gift cards for whatever I decide to buy tomorrow.

Seems to be random .. we got it on one card - we need to do 4 transactions of at least $5 to get 50 AM but the other card got nada.

I'll be buying some gift cards as well but not sure when that will happen.

I got this same offer last night. I will have to stop in and pick something up.

Just did another update to the post about online shopping since some new multipliers have popped up. I would imagine there might be some again tomorrow but most with Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals are already listed. This will help when we need to chase those miles down

I have no idea how much the Roomba is that you're looking at .. or anything else much about it BUT it's on the front of the Canadian Tire Flyer it's $249.99

I bought one during the Black Friday sales last year. DO IT!! You can cook a roast beef (approx. 3lbs) in under an hour! And don't even get me started on boiled eggs. I don't know what it is, but something in the process makes the shells slide right off - game changer. I've made soups, chili, roasts, chicken and dumplings, etc. Seriously - you won't regret it.

My son has only been wearing sweatpants for the past few years (he's turning 9 in a couple weeks). I stopped buying jeans since he never wore them. Yesterday he threw a fit when he was getting ready for school that he wanted to wear jeans and a button down shirt... So I am happy tomorrow is Children's Place STB coupon day! And their jeans are on sale for $9.99. I'm not sure but I think he expected me to go buy him a pair before school yesterday (we leave the house at 7am, not sure where he expected me to make them appear from!)

With Indigo it's actually a case of what it does NOT say ... here's an example of when you won't earn miles from the Bay .. this is on almost every site

compared to what it says on the Indigo page

Woohoo! AMShops $100+ spend is done. Lucky me, my husband wanted a $90 blu ray set anyways so I added Whole Foods 1lb bag of walnuts ($9.99) and an in-mug milk frother ($4.99) to get me over the threshold.

And used my 2 $50 GCs from Shell :)

I should get 50AM from the 10x multiplier, 50AM from the spend $100+ STB promo, and I already got 60AM for those 2 gift cards at Shell :)

Do you think you could get AM and Plum points from the e-card purchase, and AM and Plum points for a purchase using the card, or is that too greedy ? :jester:

Not greedy, just a very savvy shopper! If you normally get Plum points on gift cards, then YUP you'll get them thru the Airmiles portal as well. You can also apply any discount codes you have ... i just got one for 15% off anything plus extra points cause it's almost my birthday!!!!
