Thanks for the heads up about booking! We're booked for 11-27. We missed this last year and are really excited to check it out! :)

I booked for 1-1-19 and had been stalking this thread for availability to book

I’m not sure I will keep my reservation. We’ve never seen this show. I have 2 Disney adults (12, 10). Cost $345...wow!

We were at Disney NYE timeframe a few years back. My youngest remembered the dessert party and said that was his favorite part.

Value is very personal but I’d love other opinions on this show and party specifically?
Like you said value is very personal. I did this dessert party the first year it was offered and watched the show last yyear many times (it's been going on for only 3 years) Out of all the dessert parties this one has been my favorite so far. I loved the atmosphere, the projections of snow showing up on the Chinese Theater, the food offerings were great and the drinks were amazing. The show itself improved greatly last year. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Not 100% sure about my trip yet but would hate to miss it. Is it 24 hour cancellation policy? I can’t see the details of that online.
Thanks.
yes 1 day
On hold right now! We're booking for Nov 30th. I tried doing it online but I'm paying with a disney gc and I didn't see a place for that type of payment :(
Hope everything goes through

I swear the CM on the phone said it was 48 hours but then again it wouldn't be the first time we got conflicting info! You do pay upfront for this one, though.
I got my dessert party for the 30th of November! So excited. We have a late lunch at 1435 at Liberty Tree

just doubled check on the website, is it 1 day cancellation policy

I have never done the parties at MK but have done the Illuminations Sparkling Dessert Party, FEA and SW. For JBJB we thought the setting at the Chinese Theater was perfection. The atmosphere is festive, the food and beverage selections very very good, you get a photo op with Santa Goofy, last year we got a souvenir ornament, then just a few steps away is the show which puts you in the holiday spirit. Afterwards you can walk down Sunset Blvd. and catch the Sunset Seasons Greetings show. Just a great way to kick off your holidays. For us, this one had better food and beverage selections and the atmosphere was great. We liked it much much better than the SW dessert party.

Are the food/beverage options only offered at night or are they available during the daytime as well? I read about the adult beverages offered last year and they sound wonderful! I was always a little disappointed that they didn't offer things like that during Osborne Lights.

ETA: Just realized the poster was referring to the dessert party - sorry! I was talking about the drinks at Min & Bill's and Fairfax Fare.

I believe you might find the gingerbread cupcake available all day, other than that the food offerings were exclusive to the party...the gingerbread drink is to die for

Booked our first ever dessert party for 12/23 - thanks for the heads up! I'm looking forward to the gingerbread martini! :yay:
