I heard that, at WL too. But I don’t see how it’s more handy than using MB that’s right there on my wrist. Having to dig thru purse to find phone.

I have mentioned this elsewhere but many people don't like the MB on their wrist so this gives them another option to get in their door. Also if you happen to leave your band in your room you likely will still have your phone.

I agree. I probably would do it once, just for fun, but would most likely use the MB after that. To think of it, I rarely get to unlock the door, as my kids usually race to see who’s going to get there first so they can do it lol

Yeah, I know Hilton's have had that for a while but I find it takes a while for the phone to unlock the elevators and room doors. i stayed at one Hilton where it unlocked the stairwell steps across the hall from my room. The room card key or magicband would still be faster for me!

I wish that instead of building technology we don't need, that they would get their existing technology (i.e., their website) to work better!

My husband always wanted a house on a lake. We bought one 10/15 but gutted it to the studs and rebuilding.

Since we can't sleep there still , I keep asking for a few disney days. I think we shall finally have walls and a bathroom this fall or winter. Then my trips will slooooow down.

After my sept trip I don't have one planned ......yet!

Having APs and using our JetBlue card for house project has given us all free airfare(family of 4)!That definitely has made a difference.

Oh AP was 40% off at BWI and GF for my dates. That was a deal breaker for sure!

The AP discount for end of sept has some great rates at bwi and Gf!

Deluxe king rpc was 585, sl was 466 and bwi 280-290! Std gv gf 370ish.

Do the rooms have a coffee maker and is it possible to just get hot water from it without coffee? I wanted to bring oatmeal packets for my boys in the morning. Would rather avoid having to bring a plug in tea kettle if possible. TIA!

I’m not sure about the Lounge but I have seen ongoing repainting to the exterior.

Yep, just run the water without the coffee. Most rooms have that cuisinart machine, cl has keurigs but both work without the coffee.

I have made oatmeal and tea at the resorts too. Quick n easy way to make breakfast.

SL was closed during our stay 7/30-8/3. I did see crew working on the exterior of the building. But I didn't see anyone working in the building.

We are visiting in December and I just managed to swap us from Sugar Loaf to Main Building "standard view." We are a party of 5 (3 kids ages 4,2,2) any rooms I should request or "standard" room pictures?

I just returned from GF. I had a booking for the same room category as yours, Main building standard club room. My room request to DSS was "first available room with 2 queen and 1 sofa bed"... We arrived around 830am. Our room was ready around 1pm that day..... We got room 4001, the Grand Suite...2200 sq ft, 2 bed rooms for our 4 day stay.. It was a gift from the Mickey Mouse.
